An excellent hotel that brought my brief stay in Yanagawa to the next level!
Pros:

I had never been to Yanagawa before, so I didn't know what to expect, but this hotel was excellent. I'll just create a bullet point list of what I enjoyed:
- The hotel is very modern, clean, comfortable, and orderly
- The staff were all extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient
- Building off of the point above, this is very accessible for a non-Japanese English-speaker like myself
- The location is extremely convenient - you're only a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest subway station
- In addition to the point above, there is a boat tour company that is literally 2 doors down, maybe a 60-second walk max, and they offer a free shuttle to bring you back afterwards
- In the lobby next to the check-in counter, there are free drinks available all throughout the day, including a Pepsi soda machine, champagne, and coffee
- The density of convenience stores is obviously significantly less than in major cities like Tokyo or Osaka, but there is a nice new Lawson just 5 minutes away (next to the subway station)
- In the lounge next to the check-in counter on the left-hand side near the elevator are two vending machines as well as a shelf generously filled with free individually packaged amenities, including cotton swabs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and much, much more
- There are tons of great mom-and-pop restaurants within a few minutes' walk, as well as some cool clothing stores in the nearby intersection... Yanagawa is fun to explore!
- The bed is great, the shower is fantastic, the air conditioner is easy to use... It's all A+
One last thing I want to note is that there is an extremely negligible tourist tax that I was asked to pay upon check-in. I believe it's 200 JPY per night. I just wanted to note this as I was unsure if I had paid it already when I reserved my room on Booking.com or if I had to pay it upon check-in, so there's your answer!
I loved this hotel and would love to return one day! :)

Cons:

I thought there was some sort of breakfast service from 6 am to 11 am. There are physical signs/posters which I interpreted as such, but this didn't seem to be the case. When I came downstairs each morning, there wasn't anything being offered in the lounge area besides the free drinks, which are available at all times of day and highly appreciated! However, take this with a grain of salt, as I didn't bother to ask or further investigate. I usually saw that there was no action in the lounge and just walked over to the nearest Lawson, which is only 5 minutes away and fairly priced as is.
Also, I generally like to turn on the TV and watch Japanese news stations or game shows to keep the hotel room feeling lively, but the TV in my room only showed pay-per-view movies. I didn't bother renting any. Again, I could have been wrong, and there was an option to access regular TV, but just something to note. I had enough devices and content to keep me distracted in the few hours I spent in the hotel room otherwise.
I absolutely loved this hotel and the whole experience of staying here, so consider these to be extremely minor nitpicks that didn't amount to much of anything for me, but may hinder someone else's experience.

観光に便利
Pros:

予約していた川下り乗り場に近かった。
ホテルの駐車場は先着で停められなかったが、近くの24時間600円の駐車場を案内して貰えて助かった。

Cons:

ベットが思いのほか狭かった。

Horrible : Odeur de cigarette imprégnée dans les murs
Pros:

Le personnel était aimable et l’hôtel proche de la gare.

Cons:

Odeur de cigarette imprégné dans les murs, malgré une chambre dite « non fumeur ». Une odeur ignoble.
Le bruit dans le couloir résonne dans la chambre.
Les murs sont très bien, j’entendais un couple à côté rire, parler et avoir des relations, ce qui était extrêmement gênant.
