Disaster scam, advertising is fraudulent, evidence of bugs, when we complained we were threatened.
Pros:

We liked almost nothing. We had booked at this hotel for our whole week over New Years but lasted maybe 20 minutes before fleeing; we luckily found cancellations elsewhere so returned our key to them the first morning. The location is fantastic if you're reasonably fit like we are, up a steep hill with a FABULOUS view over Zipolite and the ocean; but that's the ONLY good thing about the place.

Cons:

It did not even remotely resemble the pictures in booking.com. Instead we were offered a tiny filthy concrete prison cell. The closet-bathroom was filthy too. We had just flown all day and had a dusty drive from HUX so I did take a shower guessing we'd have to make the most of it given that over NYE everything else would be sold out. We were expecting no air-conditioning so that wasn't a problem, but when I moved the bed under the ceiling fan to get the good if it, the floor under the bed was covered with bug debris (see pictures) and we could not un-see that so just fled. We were lucky to find cancellations at good hotels elsewhere through booking.com so returned the key in the morning and complained. In response to our complaint the hotel management (that we had never seen or met) accused us of lying and threatened us with deportation, drug charges (?!). They also weirdly claimed that we simply didn't like the location which was the one and only thing we did like about the sketchy place. Hey booking.com, why do you list this unethical sketchy dive?

it is probably 400ft from beach but 200ft are uphill dirt road.No customer service,absolutely nothing available to buy ,no ice at 90 degrees temperature.pool not apealing to get in ,bad experience overall.
