Pros:

Staff were friendly and courteous. Good location.

Cons:

The hotel is fairly dated. Pillows on bed were not sufficient, woke with a sore neck. Shower was average.
Breakfast service was oddly poor as they were short of staff. Quality of breakfast again was poor, couldn't make porridge with oats and water. Sent an email via enquiries making hotel aware of issues we had but no response.

If I’d got my room that I booked it would’ve been better, good was great, water seemed on short supply for a bath
Pros:

It was in a great part of the lakes

Cons:

It was cramped and a bit old fashioned , I booked a 9m squared room and they put me in a 5m squared room and said nothing , shabby

Perfect getaway spot

One of the best hotels in the lakes. Staff were extremely friendly looked after everyone and made our stay truly amazing. Our dog loved it too, especially the breakfast sausage!
Room was spacious, bed was super comfy, quiet. Food was delicious especially the sticky toffee pudding!

It was ok I suppose I wouldn’t stay here again
Pros:

It is in a great location

Cons:

There were wet towels in the bath when we arrived. The tv did not work. There was writing on the bathroom laminate flooring which did not look very nice. The cooked breakfast wasn’t very good. It’s just a bit unloved

Excellent for walks. Friendly and welcoming staff and dogs more than welcome.
Pros:

Location for walks. Beyond dog friendly!

Cons:

TV on the window sill blocked the view and didn’t even work. Either screw to the wall and get it working or remove it!

Great location but tired bedrooms.
Pros:

Great location. Super attentive staff. Lovely food in the bar.

Cons:

Bedrooms are very tired. In room beverage supplies are in very short supply. Bar food is lovely but condiments let it down - example pepper mills are broken.

Pleasant short stay.
Pros:

Breakfast excellent, some staff very professional and friendly (especially Gabriel)

Cons:

The whole place could do with an overhaul (very dated). Water pressure for shower requires a boost.
