Was a lovely location nice and quite very warm and cosy property.
The pillows were a little flat so had a sore neck after sleeping but comfy bed.
Loved the hotel. The food was great and all the staff was friendly. The front of house manager working in the restaurant was fanatic, his was amazing and always looked after my dog. A great character and asset to the hotel. He was always asked how you eeee and helpful. The young lad on the bar was also very nice and so lady at breakfast. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Cozy, rooms clean and spacious
Everything was lovely
The room was clean, comfortable and well presented. The food in the bar and restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly. I travelled alone with my dog and I was made to feel very welcome
Everything with the hotel was great. The only thing I didn't like was the weather 🤣
Clean, quiet, helpful staff, lovely breakfast
Breakfast was very good ,and good service. Mains reception was helpful.
The
general impression it could do with a good t.l.c.
I really liked the location - there are some lovely walks in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Maybe the heating could have been turned on prior to our stay - it was very cold when we first got to our room.
Staff were extremely friendly and efficient
The single room was small.
Although the hotel said the room would be serviced every 2nd day this didn't happen, on a seven night stay my room was only serviced once and I had to ask for clean bath and hand towels
Everything was very satifactory
Nothing comes to mind
Great place, good value, good food and friendly staff!
Comfortable room well maintained. Good food in the restaurant. The young staff were brilliant. Always smiling and helpful despite working long hours They were a pleasure every day.
Not keen on dogs in the bar area but appreciate it is marketed as dog friendly. We were able to use the restaurant though which was dog free! We would have benefitted from a lift but the premises make this difficult to install. A room at a lower level would have suited us better (we are both in our eighties) but we did not make our ages known when booking. We sometimes had a prolonged wait at reception.
