Staff were friendly and courteous. Good location.
The hotel is fairly dated. Pillows on bed were not sufficient, woke with a sore neck. Shower was average.
Breakfast service was oddly poor as they were short of staff. Quality of breakfast again was poor, couldn't make porridge with oats and water. Sent an email via enquiries making hotel aware of issues we had but no response.
Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
Spotlessly clean and generous room size.
HOTEL WAS TIRED
It was in a great part of the lakes
It was cramped and a bit old fashioned , I booked a 9m squared room and they put me in a 5m squared room and said nothing , shabby
Not great, a very small helping.
One of the best hotels in the lakes. Staff were extremely friendly looked after everyone and made our stay truly amazing. Our dog loved it too, especially the breakfast sausage!
Room was spacious, bed was super comfy, quiet. Food was delicious especially the sticky toffee pudding!
Nothing - everything was spot on
The breakfast was excellent - we also enjoyed the bar snacks. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful.
Nothing reallyExce
It is in a great location
There were wet towels in the bath when we arrived. The tv did not work. There was writing on the bathroom laminate flooring which did not look very nice. The cooked breakfast wasn’t very good. It’s just a bit unloved
Location for walks. Beyond dog friendly!
TV on the window sill blocked the view and didn’t even work. Either screw to the wall and get it working or remove it!
Great staff
Great food in the restaurant
And lovely full english included in our stay
Room alittle dated and bed and little hard but overall a pleasant stay
Great location. Super attentive staff. Lovely food in the bar.
Bedrooms are very tired. In room beverage supplies are in very short supply. Bar food is lovely but condiments let it down - example pepper mills are broken.
Comfortable bed and decent size room
Waited 1 hour for breakfast
Good value hotel in a great location. Perfect for walkers and people exploring the area. Excellent food after a cold wet day in the Lakes.
Breakfast excellent, some staff very professional and friendly (especially Gabriel)
The whole place could do with an overhaul (very dated). Water pressure for shower requires a boost.
Very clean and welcoming staff massive bed and very helpful with a reactive dog
The shower didnt have warm water and no heating
Loved the hotel. The food was great and all the staff was friendly. The front of house manager working in the restaurant was fanatic, his was amazing and always looked after my dog. A great character and asset to the hotel. He was always asked how you eeee and helpful. The young lad on the bar was also very nice and so lady at breakfast. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Was a lovely location nice and quite very warm and cosy property.
The pillows were a little flat so had a sore neck after sleeping but comfy bed.
