Enjoyed or stay would return to one of the lodges with the family
Pros:

Beautiful location lovely well kept grounds

Cons:

Wasn’t aware that hotel was just a building and accessed via outdoor stairs possibly didn’t read too carefully about that. Room was spacious ( we upgraded to the larder room ) very comfortable and clean

Wonderful stay
Pros:

The stay was wonderful even though we stayed for a short time. Everything was wonderful, the location, the room, the food and the friendliness of the staff. Since we didn't come with a car, it was easy to get around because there are regular bus lines. I would definitely recommend the hotel to future travelers and I hope to return soon.

Pros:

Room was lovely decorated ,spacious and clean .Breakfast was lovely and unfortunately didn’t get to use the spa facilities.Staff very polite and friendly when they found out that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary they offered us two free cocktails!!.Situated on lovely grounds, beautiful scenery.

Cons:

That the room didn’t have a fridge to keep our water cool as the weather was really hot 🥵 that’s it .They should have a mini bar at least .

Beautiful relaxing place to stay. just the spa wasn't as good as expected.
Pros:

The whole site is beautiful. room was immaculate. Just a lovely place to get away from it all.

Cons:

No Air Con in the room .. I think that should be standard nowadays.
The menu in the Stove Restaurant is a bit limited. But I enjoyed mi meal, But my wife wasn't over impressed with the Venison paster dish.
The Spa Pool and outside Space in the Spa was very small and no real hot tup/jacuzzi

Comfortable but pricey
Pros:

Quiet rural location with easy access to a real pub with good food.

Cons:

Prices up again, I ve booked annually for last 3 years.
No fridge in room, in this very hot weather a fridge would have been very useful in keeping snacks and water chilled.
No flannels available on arrival in the rooms.
No Kendal mint cake on pillow!

Pros:

Everything about Langdale Spa & Hotel was perfect. Booked as a 2 night get away with my partner, and it was just what we needed. From check-in the staff were great, the man on reception was lovely. We had a beautiful room and the estate was stunning. We had a spa day in the Brimstone Spa, and treatments which were incredible- definitely worth the price. Would recommend to couples who want to get away for a short break.

Cons:

There isn't much to mention. We had a little confusion when booking, thinking we had access to the spa included, but we hadn't booked specifically for the Brimstone hotel. Double check this. However, it wasn't an issue at all and our room was great.
The menu in the restaurant could've been a little more extensive, but the food we had was lovely.

Relaxing retreat!
Pros:

Beautiful location which gave you a choice of easy leisurely walks or more challenging ones. Lots of places close by to eat and drink if you didnt want to stay in the hotel complex. Extremely relaxing atmosphere. All the staff bar one were extremely attentive and friendly whilst keeping a professional standard. The hotel leisure facilities were fabulous. We did pay to go to Brimstone Spa but if you didnt want any treatments the hotels own facilities were more than enough. Breakfast had a good choice of both hot and cold items but we did find the hot food slow to be replenished however. The restaurant had a good menu with a good variety of choices. We had Sunday lunch at Wainrights which was absolutely delicious and would totally recommend 😋

Cons:

We stayed on a very hot weekend and unfortunately the room did not have air con. We were provided with an electric fan but this just blew hot air around the room and so sleeping was uncomfortable. The room also did not have a fridge so we were unable to have any cold drinks in the room.
For the price of the room we did expect to have either air con or an aircooler fan to be provided but we did not check this when booking just thought it would have been standard in a hotel of this quality

We had a lovely stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. The spa was peaceful and not overcrowded, making it a very relaxing experience. There was a great choice at breakfast, with plenty of options to suit everyone. The location is excellent, providing easy access to this beautiful part of the Lake District. We would happily stay here again.

Just what we needed. Peaceful yet close to Ambleside and Windermere. Obviously some of the best walks
Pros:

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Great swimming pool and leisure facilities, which are close to the hotel rooms. Lovely walk to Wainwrights pub.

Cons:

The only slight downside was the room was a little dark and maybe ready for an update. However it was still a really pleasant room.
