Great staff, large room and in a great central location. (Road noise minimal despite being on main road) Enjoyed a good breakfast.
Outside needs cleaned as it is suffering by being on a main road and does not reflect the inside. Beware although no fault of the hotel, getting a meal after 8.30 in town proved impossible (sorry sir we are closing)
Lovely staff , good location and nice atmosphere
The breakfast was nice, the dinner was like weatherspoons not so good. The room we had was freezing no radiators working just a small blow heater. Really cold and I asked for a walk in shower as my partner was waiting for a new knee . It was a bath with a shower proved a bit difficult for him.
Hotel in central position for shops, restaurants pubs etc. The staff were all friendly and had time for little chats. Food for breakfast was good so were the 2 pub meals we had. The room was fantastic (3) roomy and had a view of the street.
We did park on the carpark but not sure if it was busy you could get a space.
Can't think of anything negative
Good old fashioned pub with proper pub food!!
Large bathroom
Real ale at the bar
Central location
Food average
Car park needed 3 or 4 more spaces to allow everyone to park
Good location but can get a bit noisy if people are enjoying themselves in the outside patio area.
Really great breakfast
All good
Lovely staff, lovely location. First time visiting England and we booked this hotel last minute and the village is lovely. The bar and food isn’t expensive and is great.
Parking wasn’t the best but staff in the hotel were helpful and lovely regarding it. We did arrive later in the evening on a Saturday evening.
