Location is central
We were very disappointed with our stay.
The room was not very clean and was extremely dusty. However, that was not even our main concern.
Your property is advertised as a 4-star hotel, so we expected a 4-star standard of service and accommodation, which we simply did not receive.
The bathroom sink was blocked and filled almost to the rim every time we turned the tap on. When we reported it to the staff, we were told that nothing could be done because it was "old plumbing." This is not an acceptable response, and it was extremely unpleasant having dirty water sitting in the sink and taking a very long time to drain.
Another major issue was that the room was noticeably slanted. The sofa bed, where our children were supposed to sleep, tilted so that their heads were lower than their legs. This was uncomfortable and not suitable for sleeping, so we had no choice but to have the whole family sleep in one bed.
To make matters worse, the music from the pub below was extremely loud until around midnight over the weekend, with no consideration for hotel guests trying to sleep.
Overall, this stay was nowhere near worth the £707 we paid. We feel the hotel is misleading guests by advertising itself as a 4-star property while providing a much lower standard.
Have stayed at Innkeepers before so rooms and layout were as expected, lovely and traditional with plenty of space and a nice clean bathroom
Nothing
Food
The hotel is in a very good location, right in the center, a spacious room, private parking right next to the hotel, helpful staff, fully met our expectations 🙂

Locatie en ontbijt
Verschrikkelijk warm op zolderkamer
Centrally located and, despite our room being above a packed bar, surprisingly quiet.
I’m not a big eater but cooked exactly what I wanted
Considering they were understaffed I would never have known this as everything thing was super efficient
Location
Catering was dreadful especially breakfast. Curtains in our room were hanging off the rail but when asked to fix was told fittings weren’t available so had to be ordered from Amazon.
