Pros:

The staff were very helpful and cheerful, the location was excellent, food was always hot ,the rooms were very clean ,downside was the room could maybe have a mini fridge ,the room was very noisy through the traffic because the the window had to be left open because of the heatwave and early morning traffic was very noisy, the fan had to be left on because of no air con ,but really enjoyed our stay,but thanks to all the staff especially Victoria the blond lady and bar staff

Ambleside is bustling with tourist of all ages, yet we heard little noise. Great spot!
Pros:

Good sized room and bed. Plenty of room for luggage, good sized ensuite.

Overnight stay for Dave's day in Barrow
Pros:

Slept really well after a long motorbike ride . The bed was comfy and the room was cool and really quiet. Breakfast was good

Cons:

Not having hot water for a shower we did mention this and it won't stop us returning as during our last stay it was hot but something that other guests may not be as sympathetic about. We would also have appreciated a fridge to keep our own drinks cool in the hot weather

Pros:

Was easy access to Ambleside, above a pub

Cons:

Was noisy from 7am due to deliveries and the pub outdoor speaker, a lot of noise/running around upstairs, just needs a little refurb as ceiling crumbing and felt a little dated

The breakfast was exceptional with lots of options. The staff were lovely and very obliging. Will definitely re-visit.

Pros:

Staff are brilliant and its above a great pub serving food and breakfast. So you can buy a pint and drink it in your bed. How civilised. Central to the town with free parking. Nice quiet spacious room a d fab shower.

Cons:

Guests should be able to pop down for a real.ale at night if they cant sleep.
