Small boutique hotel in the center of Aquismon as basis to visit the surroundings. The hotel is quiet and nicely decorated. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly.

Amazing stay for exploring the Huasteca potosina.
30 minutes from Sotano de la golondrinas and Tamul falls.
Very rural place but super quite.
Bright and cheerful hotel. Coffee and continental breakfast (pastries from a panadería). Reasonable price. The staff immediate gave us another room when we complained about the WiFi in our original room. Free parking in the lot behind the hotel.

Breakfast included was good. But it was simple: just some sweet breads, coffee, cold cereal. We opted to walk into town for some delicious breakfast that was more substantial.
All rooms are on 1st floor (above main floor) so be prepared to climb up a flight of stairs (wasn't an issue for us and our light duffle bags)
The beds were not the most comfortable....I could feel the coils in the mattress.
I wished there were more towel racks to hang our towels in the bathroom
Parking is behind the building. Not very clear or obvious how to get there since the entrance to the hotel itself is a pedestrian side street. There is also no direct access from parking lot to the hotel, you'll have to walk the dark back street and down the pedestrian street to the front entrance of the hotel. Our room "Golondrinas" had a window that looked out to the parking lot, so we felt better that we could see our car during the night
This may be personal and picky but I have an aversion to towel racks placed directly over the toilet. Not the most sanitary place for them. Plenty of space in the bathroom for the towel rack to be placed on the wall opposite the toilet.
Shower curtain misplaced, whole bathroom floor wet after taking shower.

Quiet and dark to sleep and rest
The staff was great and very helpful! The rooms are modern furnished and the bed is comfortable. They have a nice terrace upstairs where you can sit in the evening and relax.
Breakfast could be improved and the lounge area needs some AC.
