From the moment we arived we were made to feel welcome. The room was elegantly decorated and the beds super comfortable. We had dinner in the restuarant and it was excellant with exceptional service even down to explaining the wines.
Nothing, everything was exceptional.
I booked this hotel for an upcoming wedding in December. The wedding was on a Sunday and I booked to stay on the Saturday and Sunday nights. At the time of booking 19/10/25 there was a wedding already booked for the Saturday. Today 22/06/26 the hotel cancelled my booking for the Saturday, claiming that it was in the contract of the wedding party to have the whole hotel on the Saturday. They should at least be honest and just admit that the wedding party wanted another room and they gave them mine. The time between my booking and the hotel cancelling clearly shows they are lying. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from this hotel.
The only thing that let the stay down was reception. There was no one there at 9.15 to check us out and we had to wait some time. Fortunately chairs were beside it. Otherwise we were very pleased. The food was very good, the staff were very polite and friendly and the quiet room we asked for was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and generous and there was a good selection at the buffet.
Just that one niggle at checkin and checkout.
Friendly staff and food
Cleanliness
Cost of soft drinks at bar for children!
£3.95 for a diet coke!pour it from a plastic 2 litre bottle!£1.75 for a dash of lime cordial in a pint of guiness that cost £7.20 that's a bit extortionist.A dash should be free
Location was good for a midway overnight to the North coast. Located in a quiet residential area, could walk into town and was very quiet and peaceful. We arrived about 7pm on a Sunday and were able to eat in the restaurant , which had a good varied selection and was very good.
The room we had was smallish but modern, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean with an open shower and very good.
we had breakfast included and it was very good.
It has a nice bar for an evening drink with an outside area.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Nothing.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary on 6th March 2026 in The Leighinmohr with family and friends. We had a lovely room with beautiful architectural features which accommodated us all very comfortably. The food was delicious, service was excellent and booking it all was very straightforward. We had the room for the evening and they did not rush us away. Looking forward to being back.
Thankyou,
Archie & Maureen Hogg.
We got married on Sunday, and hands down it was the best experience from our initial inquiry through to check out the morning after the wedding. Hannah and Patricia in particular looked after us between booking and coordinating the wedding and we cannot thank them enough. Prompt communication, exceptional service and attention to detail. Our guests are still raving about the food, rooms, and service they all received throughout the day and overnight stay. Thank you so much for a fantastic kick start to our marriage!
