I've heard good things about The Cavern; but the actual experience was way better.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. Stunning location, and beautifully kept gardens and facilities. Very friendly staff. Great hikes from the hotel into the surrounding escarpement. Meals were also very good; but - for some reason - the kitchen doesn't do breaksfast eggs very well. But that is about the only negative in an otherwise great stay.

Fabulous mini break in the mountains, great food, excellent variety of activities.
Pros:

The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The daily activities and variety of activities are amazing and ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy. The guides who take you on the daily walks are fantastic.

Incredible scenic and beautiful resort and spa. The staff were amazing and food outstanding. A wonderful place to hike, relax and refresh. Will definitely return.

Pros:

The food was exceptional. The natural landscape like the fern forest was magical. And I love the fact they had E-bikes that allowed for some incredible adventures in the area and mountains. Brilliant service and fireplace.

Cons:

My room did not have a view. it would be useful to not offer these or have these reduced in price to compensate for the difference. Signage for the walking and biking trails could be marked better.
