The hotel is about an easy 15 mins walk from the centre so benefits from quiet and green surroundings.

The hotel itself has lovely gardens, spacious and comfy rooms and a good restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals.

All of the staff are delightful.

It was a quiet setting with outlook to the farms. The management and staff were wonderful. We also took a very cheap but excellent tour to the Durbar square and an arranged transfer to the airport.

Nice room, beautiful view, amazing food, nice staff, super organized with the best tours ever.
Tours are really special and they will let you discover the real Hindu and Buddhist culture.
They also talk many languages!

A real family hotel: the ambiance is truly relaxed and welcoming. Everyone was so nice and forthcoming it felt like home. The food, both breakfast and dinner and both local as western kitchen, was delicious.
The garden is great and has amazing views. A tour of Bhaktapur by the manager can be booked easily, was individualized and was very informative on local culture and heritage.

It’s beautifully positioned in a garden setting with views to the mountains , the staff are a delight very attentive and friendly , and the foods great . There’s a library , inner courtyard garden filled with flowering pot plants , upper roof terrace aswell as the wrap around gardens and a dining area, the whole house is well laid out, spacious and has a lot of charm .The rooms are large and airy , mine had a balcony , wifi is good and showers hot . It’s near the city and it’s also possible to visit a nearby temple further up the road . The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome , comfortable and enjoy the stay .

We had a wonderful time in Planet Bhaktapur Hotel. During the 9 days festival season we enjoyed the silence and peace in their beautiful garden and the only short walk to city center. It was a warm and familiar atmosphere, the Nepali and Italian food was varied and delicous. You can also do a cooking class or book a Yoga lesson. After our Trek to ABC we really enjoyed the hot shower with best water pressure in Nepal. The Hotel Manager is also a guide and gave a lot of background information and suggestions for excursions. Many thanks to the very helpful Hotel team making our stay in Bhaktapur so special.

This place is an oasis of peace. Just outside the center of Bhaktapur, it will give you some calm and silence after the hustle and bustle of the cities. I spent the first half day in the wonderful garden, just enjoying the calm and relaxation.
The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Planet Bhaktapur Hotel is ideally situated away from the bustle and noise yet the old town is conveniently near. Room and bed comfortable, garden delightful, menu has ample choices, both Italian and Nepali, and all delicious. Super nice, helpful staff.
