It met our requirements for a short stay- clean, convenient, and we felt welcomed by the manager.
Pros:

The staff, manager, and location close to the railroad.
The coffee and tea in room.

Cons:

The stairs were difficult to manage- very narrow steps.

An ideal location while visiting a friend locally. For a single traveller it felt safe
Pros:

Excellent location next to the train station but in a quiet street. Although above a pub with an outside terrace, it was not too noisy. It was great to have a fan in the room during the heatwave. The bathroom was very nice.

Cons:

The pillows were very uncomfortable and it would have been good to have had a sheet to use rather than the duvet in very hot weather.

Really accommodating cheerful staff. Pub seemed to have great neighbourhood clientelle. Lively but not rowdy.
Pros:

Convenient. Comfortable. Friendly. Helpful. Nice atmosphere. Smart recently renovated shower room. Good shower. Nice towels.

Cons:

Bed linen duvet etc. generally could do with replacing. Windows and netting need a clean.

De gros efforts à faire pour le confort des clients !
Pros:

La chambre et la salle de bains étaient relativement neuves. Le personnel a été professionnel mais leur accueil ne compense pas le manque de confort.

Cons:

Une très forte mauvaise odeur dans la chambre ! Ce n'était pas une odeur naturelle, ni de renfermé ou d'humidité, mais elle semblait être incrustée depuis longtemps. Je l'ai dit à la personne en charge du ménage qui a vaporisé un désodorisant mais ça n'était clairement pas la solution !
Je n'avais pas le choix que de rester (pas d'hôtels disponibles dans le quartier) mais j'aurais perdu le coût de la chambre et serais partie si j'avais trouvé une alternative tellement l'odeur me semblait intolérable.

Par ailleurs la literie était vieille et inconfortable.

Good location but poor experience
Pros:

Central location next to the station and a short walk / taxi to Syon House. 24hr access.

Cons:

The staff had no record of my booking and asked for proof several times. In the room the fan was broken, the bedlinen was very itchy and the water would turn off without warning and switch between hot and cold sporadically whilst in use - when I politely went to enquire at the bar I was passed on to each staff member and sadly ignored for so long gave up on finding a solution!

Great location, wonderful staff
Pros:

Lovely place, staff friendly and helpful and practically on the platform for Brentford Station.
Close to canal and Boston Manor also.
Great pub too!

Pros:

Friendl and easy check in.. Quiet enough once the oub shut. Clean, comfy room..

Cons:

Only a few car parking spaces but street parking was available and ffee after 5.30pm. Need a bigger fan during heatwave. Thankfully I took my own tall standing fan, so was ok.

Pros:

We arrived early and were able to get into our room straight away (we were called in advance about this being a small room but honestly it was bigger than ours at home). Car parking excellent, staff welcoming and service for food and drinks was quick. The addition of a fan in the room was a nice touch due to the heat.
