The breakfast was fantastic - good choice and delicious
No table lamp on the desk
Staff friendly and helpful. Spa was keep clean loved the swimming pool water like a warm bath. Breakfast was a good choice of food for all customers.
A few issues need attention cannot see light switch beside the bed has in silver especially in amernerancy . Bathroom floor ice cold on the feet . Evening food is not basic food for me . and bar prices are over the top in price . For men no beers on tap. Only 1 beer in a bottles as ll drinks on tap was lager .
The location and facilities at the Belfry are excellent and we love the pool.
We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family nearby.
We didn’t appreciate the cleaning staff putting the changed towels in the wardrobe which was full of our personal belongings.
Also, only one of four coffee machines were working most days and the coffee was rather watery.
Staff were friendly and facilities were good.
A fire alarm test on a Saturday morning probably isn’t the best. Breakfast was a mixed bag. Undercooked bacon and sausages aren’t the best and eggs were rubbery but otherwise was fine.
the pool and spa facilities, good breakfast options, comfy bed
the pool changing rooms had a bad smell both days
Looked attractive and convenient for buses into Cambridge
We were affected by short staffing, poor food choices due to Bank Holiday and early closure of the spa which we should have been advised of in advance of our stay.
Comfortable, large rooms, quiet, good quality bar meal. Being offered a barista coffee after my breakfast coffee was twice cleared away before it was finished. All staff were polite.
Hotel was Difficult to find, rotating entry doors jammed wheelie luggage.
Breakfast was chaotic, nothing was labelled, so lots of chats between guests guessing what was in jugs and bowls. Given allergies it was extraordinary that milks, yoghurts, jams and jugs of maybe fruit purée were unlabelled. Guests were tasting and sharing their guesses with fellow diners. Coffee machine didn’t work properly. My table was twice cleared when I went to buffet, meaning I had to change tables or remove cutlery and mugs from other tables to continue my breakfast. It felt like a game show.
Nice a clean and staff were friendly
Spa treatments were a bit pricey
Friendly and helpful staff, lots of facilities, good breakfast, easy to find location. Quick access to Cambridge (10-15 minutes).
Bed was very hard. Decor looking a bit tired.
The spacious parking and the fact it was free.
The food wasn’t the best, and the facilities were disappointing to say the least , plus it was very crowded due to it not being big enough. On top of that it was a long drive to the town centre, so I didn’t like the distance. Finally, I didn’t enjoy that there was no evening entertainment ,especially since I had a child with me who easily got bored. Speaking of children, the breakfast and dinner menu options was poor because of the little variety and that there wasn’t a children’s menu at all.
The penthouse was clean, staff very friendly and helpful and good location.
The penthouse was clean but the radiator wasn’t warming enough the bedroom, the living was fine. The toilet jacuzzi doesn’t work. For the spa time for kids they send the information after that i did booking and payment and i wasn’t agreed to use swimming pool the other day because the meaning of the stay was that. I live 20 min from the hotel and we went obviously just for sleeping that wasn’t fair. If i cancel i couldn’t have a refund. But we enjoyed the dinner time and the morning with swimming. Another thing that has not happened when i have been to others resorts was that kids wasn’t allowed to use jacuzzi.
