Important information:


For all guests arriving at the hotel, we reserve the right to pre-authorize a credit or debit card for the room rate per night plus an additional £50 per night for extras. The hotel is not charging your credit card. A pre-authorization is a security guarantee for payment only. Any excess pre-authorization will be released on the day of departure.If you cannot provide the hotel with a credit or debit card on check-in to pre-authorize, full prepayment will be required on arrival. Once the pre-authorization has been completed, you may charge items to your room during your stay by presenting your room key card wallet and signing for the transaction.

Hotel Guests are welcome to use the Health Club facilities including the swimming pool from 3pm on day of arrival until 11am on day of departure.

Monday > Friday: 09:00 - 10.00 (Summer holidays only) and 14:30 - 18:30,
Saturday & Sunday: 08:30 - 10:30 and 14:30 - 16:30Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Expected far better value and quality for the cost and description
Pros:

The bathroom had both separate shower and bath. Water was hot and good pressure

Cons:

The food was horrendous, very disappointing, the room had previous peoples stuff in it still, not cleaned properly.

very nice, would stay again, a short bus ride into Cambridge.
Pros:

Food was beautiful, we ate in the bar the first night, then in the restaurant.

Cons:

There was nobody to check us out when we left. I didnt like that my bill wasnt specific to items I had ordered, only listed "bar" or restaurant. When youve spent a few days its hard to track if things are correct.

Nice experience to stay overnight
Pros:

The room was standard and relatively spacious although our bed is a bit small for 2 people. The bathroom had a shower cabin and a bath. Our window faced the major road at the distance, it added some noise but when the window was closed, it was not too disturbing. We booked room with breakfast and the breakfast was good with a range cereals, English breakfast ingredients, bakery variety.
In the evening we enjoyed free spa facilities (sauna, swimming pool), it was good but there can be busy.
The dishes for dinner in their restaurant were tasty, it is better to book a table in advance.

Cons:

Add cheese for breakfast.
It would be more convenient to have a gown for spa but only a towel is provided.

Was lovely night away, plenty of options at breakfast and was always enough. Slightly disappointed at pool, didn’t spend

Rooms were lovely and clean. Beds were comfortable

Cons:

Not enough loungers in pool area so couldn’t sit anywhere between swims. Changing room floors were very wet and bit dirty.. could not either being mopped occasionally

Pros:

Location was fine

Cons:

The pool is tiny, the ‘jaccuzi’ is very dated and the whole ‘spa’ area need renovation and there are constant pools of water. Not enough loungers, Tiny changing area, room was fine, food was pleasant despite the clear lack of experience from some waiting staff ‘is a sav blanc white or red wine’. Over all the ‘hotel’ is simply that, a place for people to stay on work and relax. Calling it a spa is a stretch of the imagination. It was fine, nothing more nothing less
