Important information:

For all guests arriving at the hotel, we reserve the right to pre-authorize a credit or debit card for the room rate per night plus an additional £50 per night for extras. The hotel is not charging your credit card. A pre-authorization is a security guarantee for payment only. Any excess pre-authorization will be released on the day of departure.If you cannot provide the hotel with a credit or debit card on check-in to pre-authorize, full prepayment will be required on arrival. Once the pre-authorization has been completed, you may charge items to your room during your stay by presenting your room key card wallet and signing for the transaction.

Hotel Guests are welcome to use the Health Club facilities including the swimming pool from 3pm on day of arrival until 11am on day of departure.

Monday > Friday: 09:00 - 10.00 (Summer holidays only) and 14:30 - 18:30,
Saturday & Sunday: 08:30 - 10:30 and 14:30 - 16:30Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Nice room with everything you need and food both bar and restaurant was excellent

Cons:

There was a bit of a queue for the coffee machines at peak times during breakfast but instant coffee available if you were in a hurry

Pros:

Nice room and bar.

Cons:

Disappointed that room service was only available until 9pm, and not 10pm as advertised in the rooms. Also, reception and bar/restaurant phone numbers were constantly engaged from 8.30-8.50pm meaning I had to go down to the bar to order room service!

Comfortable stay.
Pros:

Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Most of the staff were very pleasant.

Cons:

That children were only allowed in the pool during 3pm-7pm as one of the main reasons we booked the hotel is because my 13 year old daughter loves to swim but it meant we couldn’t swim in the morning which we love to do.

The staff on the evening were excellent, very efficient
Pros:

Amanda was very helpful, but the front desk older member of staff ( with silver hair) wasn’t so efficient

Cons:

The older front desk lady in February when we visited said there were no managers around, showed us the lounge room that was perfect for our function, when we rang and spoke to Amanda she had no knowledge of our booking so we drove to Cambridge to finalise everything with Amanda

Great hotel.
Pros:

The room was great & enjoyed a swim in the pool.

Cons:

It was a little way out of Cambridge for work, but not a major problem.

Pros:

Friendly staff when available

Cons:

We are frequent Q Hotel visitors but the Belfry was not up to scratch sadly. The beds were not comfortable, there is no fridges in the rooms and the jacuzzi was not working.

Items that had 'run out' at breakfast and at dinner

Understaffed reception and restaurant putting undue pressure on the staff who were available.

Overall, it was an ok stay but I expected much more.

Great hotel, good location.
Pros:

Reception staff were very friendly. Room was great size and clean. Good to have access to spa facilities too. Easy access to get to Cambridge by public transport.

Lovely hotel. High standard. Clean and tidy. Has everything that you need.
Pros:

Great parking and location. Room service. Lovely room, bathroom with a bath. All clean and tidy and to a good standard.

Cons:

No condiments brought up with room service. Not a fan of instant coffee in room, coffee bags would be a good compromise.
