Walking distance to the center of Cambridge.
Room to the street a bit noisy, and opposite some construction works, starting from 7 am.
Breakfast was ok. Room small but clean
Although the room was quiet at night we were woken up on the Saturday morning of our stay by the builders opposite the hotel starting work before 7.30 am.
Sehr freundlicher persönlicher Empfang, das Zimmer war schön, der kostenfreie Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel war prima, das Frühstück wurde nach Wahl frisch gekocht, z. B. Full English Breakfast - und war sehr lecker, die Innenstadt von Cambridge war fußläufig in 20 - 30 Minuten erreichbar.
Wir hatten ein Dachgeschosszimmer gebucht und erhalten, bei den herrschenden heißen Temperaturen war es unter dem Dach recht warm - zwei Lüfter waren aber bereitgestellt, die engen steilen Treppen ins 2. OG sind mit größeren Koffern etwas schwierig zu bewältigen.

Very clean room. Close to all attractions for a one night stay in Cambridge. Easy walking distance to everything. No need for public transportation or hop on/hop off bus. I'm 65 and had no problem with the walking. Close to train station.

No fridge in tge room
The hotel room itself was ok. No complaints about the staff at the check-in. Just the experience at breakfast was horrendous. Service was average, just what was served as breakfast was lacking quality. Some of the food was lukewarm, poached eggs came dried out and if you are not able to make toast that is crispy, somebody should not be in charge of the kitchen.
The hotel deserves a better chef to make it value for money. The hotel is ok, but you want to start the day with something you enjoy for breakfast

The hotel was conveniently located directly opposite the Botanic Gardens and was an easy 20 minute walk into the centre. The room was very clean and well presented. Breakfast was partly help yourself - fruit, juice, cereal - and ordering from a menu at the table for hot food. It was all fine. We requested a quiet room on booking and we had very little noise in spite of being on the ground floor near reception and overlooking the car park.
Our stay coincided with a heatwave and the room was very hot. A fan was provided which helped a little.

The inside was decorated to a high standard and very tasteful.

Prima locatie tov station en centrum, prima bedden, vriendelijk personeel, erg schoon. Er is geen drinkwater maar we konden ijswater halen in de bar.
De kamer was vrij klein met eigenlijk maar ruimte voor 1 koffer. Er was geen airco, wel een losse ventilator, maar met de temperaturen buiten boven de 30 was het onaangenaam benauwd en vreselijk warm in de kamer, in de badkamer nog erger. Het ontbijt is inbegrepen maar voor een vegan was er eigenlijk niets. We bleven 4 nachten dus dan zou je verwachten dat ze op een van de volgende dagen daar iets op bedacht hadden, maar nee.
Fint opppusset hot,el. Fine rom. Restaurant har god mat, vi spsite der en gang. Med det varme været var det mer fristende å finne et spisested med uteservering.
Restaurant/bar i kjelleren. det gjør det mindre atraktiv for oss å spise der. NB. hele bakgården blir brukt for parkering.

There was no air con in the room which is difficult in the exceptionally hot weather. A fan was in the room which helped.
The owner and the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is well located between the railway station and the historical part of the city.
There aren’t many alternatives to an English breakfast (eggs with various accompaniments).
Such a lovely place. The staff were so sweet and the location was perfect - easy walk to the city centre and very easy walk to the train station. I stayed during the heatwave and there was no air conditioning, but there was a fan and a window that opened to let fresh air in, so it wasn't too bad. Great to have breakfast included
チェックインの時にシステムに大きな問題があったようです。疲れていたのでガッカリしましたが、夜遅くにも関わらずオーナーが奮闘して解決してくだりました。次回宿泊する機会があれば、また是非予約したいです。有難うございました。

The top room we had has a sloped ceiling so not much room for tall folks and a little tricky sitting up in bed.
