Fabulous
Pros:

We adore this hotel and cannot imagine visiting South Africa without staying here. From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a glass of fizz to the moment you leave you feel cared for.
We love the decor, all the little touches in the rooms, the turn down service, the pool area, the breakfast is amazing - beautifully laid out with a fantastic array of fruit, pastries, yoghurts, smoothies, breads, cheeses etc and then the cooked breakfast.
Mark and the team ensure every guest feels special - the staff are fantastic.
This is a very special place and one we will always return to.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful, welcoming hotel with fantastic staff, great facilities, and outstanding food
Pros:

An incredible hotel in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the food is outstanding (especially the breakfast wrap, which was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had!). We couldn’t recommend The Glen highly enough and can’t wait to come back!

Pros:

It was clean and it’s was a peaceful setting

Cons:

The staff, we made a booking for the sauna and steam room for 6pm. They phone me and asked if I can move it to 7 I said we going for dinner we will do 20:30 when we arrive back at the hotel. The sauna and steam room was not even put on. The jacuzzi was ice cold as well. Which would have been nice if we could use the steam room. When my husband went and chatted to them about it. They asked him to leave the hotel. Which we paid for already.

Pros:

Absolutely loved it here. The hotel itself was really nicely decorated, everything was spotless and every single member of staff went out of their way to be as helpful and friendly as possible. The food we had was all delicious across breakfast, lunch and dinner and there were lovely little touches such as complimentary ice cream by the pool one afternoon, G&T's, post dinner drinks etc. We would definitely return when coming to Cape Town.

Simply Stunning. A quiet tranquil Oasis in Cape Town.
Pros:

Everything about the Glen Boutique Hotel is simply stunning. From the moment you arrive until the time you leave you are treated like royalty, The hotel is located in a very tranquil and peaceful setting, yet you are only minutes away from the lively parts of Cape Town.
Our room was large and spacious and offered great views from our balcony across Seapoint towards Cape Town.
The breakfasts were very good and we also enjoyed lunch and an evening meal during our stay, all of which were very enjoyable.
All of the staff are very friendly and incredibly attentive and are a credit to the management of the hotel. It was my birthday during our stay and all of the staff ensured that I had a great birthday in special surroundings.
Mark, the owner, is very friendly and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and Takunda was equally helpful, particularly in assisting us with a phone issue.
The Glen Boutique Hotel is a quiet tranquil oasis in beautiful Cape Town and is superbly managed by Mark, and we are already looking forward to our next stay in 2027.

Good hotel and service
Pros:

The room was tiny. Don't ask for standard double. One of us had to stand outside the room whilst the other unpacked!! We were told that this room is where they normally keep the luggage for people who need a late check out !!! And that was by the owner. Other than that it was great

In der Suite No. 2 befand sich ein sehr grosses und elegantes Badezimmer.

I was in room 21 and my bed must have been on the same wall as the bed in the room next door - the walls are thin and I couldn't sleep second night as the man next door snoring so loudly. Maybe re arrange the bedroom layout?
