Excellent! We will come again.
Pros:

The room was spotless, so clean and felt so comfortable as soon as you walked in. Tea and coffee in the room is a nice touch. The views were amazing and the location is brilliant for walking and sightseeing.

Cons:

I was a little worried about no food option for our stay but literally 2 mins walk away is a lovely pub that has a huge selection from breakfast through to tea and with so many pubs and restaurants to choose from in the area you will never go hungry.

We had an excellent stay and the pillows wouldn’t put us off coming again.

2 night break in castleton
Pros:

parking was on site and safe.
area of town was excellent in the center of town
communication with owner was excellent from start to finish
even placing a small fridge in the room for us which kept our milk and juice cool .
lots of nice places to eat in the area we did not need to move the car everything in walking distance.

Cons:

because we are of the older generation we struggled to get warm at night as the time we were there
the sun was hiding itself very cloudy with rain.
although this is summertime we were a little cold in the room it seemed we could not get the heating
a little higher ( it was the nest system set as so) no warm radiator's nothing to dry towels in this damp weather.
the pillows were of feather or down? not everyones cup of tea.
no good for a person who has a breathing problem laid flat could have done with a extra blanket and firm pillows but it was a 2 night break had we been there longer we would have contacted owner.
but no good been a nuisance to others.
it could do with some hooks in the bathroom so you can hang clothes or towels.
all in all it would not deter us from coming again but we would bring our own pillows and blanket.

The location was superb the room was spotless you have a view of the mountain . Close to amenities and some great walks all around you what more do you need.
