Pros:

Nature lovers, look no further. Posada del Cerro is a well thought-out lodge, with amazing accommodation consisting of hardwood thatch houses of different sizes. These have no AC, so you need to be ready to compromise slightly on comfort; but instead you get to sleep in comfortable beds seemingly in the middle of the forest, with cicadas and crickets singing day and night respectively, and the odd howler monkey serenading at your window. Having a family of monkeys overnighting outside the main hall was a highlight for us as we got to see them up close. But perhaps the best is the staff, especially Jorge, the owner, who is happy to share his expert knowledge on the area, and Santos, who is always around to help out. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we went home with wonderful memories.

Buena ubicación para visitar la zona. El lugar es muy bonito y cómodo para descansar. La cena muy buena. Los colchones muy cómodos. Atención del personal excelente te van a ayudar con el transporte para cuadrar tus visitas. Cada vez que he ido visitar la zona he repetido.

Pros:

Jorge se porto muy amable con nosotros, la habitacion era bastante amplia y muy bonita. Un lugar para estar en contacto con la naturaleza. las cabañas son muy bonitas con buen espacio y el lugar te hace conectar con el ambiente.

Cons:

Las camas son algo duras e incomodas para mi gusto. el parque esta a 200 metros y fuera de la propiedad. hay que pasar un cementerio para llegar del parqueo al hotel.

הצוות היה אדיב, החדר מרווח, אהבתי את המיקום, מרוחק מעט מהמרכז על גבעה ירוקה וקסומה אבל עדיין נגיש. גישה נוחה לאגם לפינה קסומה לרחצה. הקילה הייתה יפהפיה ושכחתי לשאול מאיפה היא!

Beautiful place right by the lake
Pros:

The staff are excellent, they (Santos and Byron) responded quickly to all our needs. They helped us with our heavy suitcases and a santos cooked us delicious meals as and when required. They also provided us with invaluable local information on transport.

The location (just opposite the lake and the Biotopo) is fantastic!

Cons:

There are lots of steps to reception. If you have mobility this may not be the place for you.

A couple of suggestions for improvement: sockets by the bed and nets on the windows so that they can be opened at night.

Pros:

Wir hatten ein Gartenbungalow mit Gartensicht, zweistöckig. Das Bungalow war gemütlich, schön eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns wohl. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir aber ein Bungalow mit Seesicht und Aussenterrasse buchen. Diese Zimmer sahen beim Vorbeilaufen traumhaft aus!
