Very close to nature. There are howler monkeys around, even much more than what you can hear in the morning tour in Tikal.

Location is a little inconvenient, but they can help to contact tuctuc to get to El Cruce crossroads for 20Q per persona.

Cons:

Surcharge 5% for card payment. Should mention so that I could prepare cash in advance.

Mosquito net is a little broken.

Amazing jungle lodge on the way to Tikal

Everything, a gateway in the jungle in a less crowded area of lake Petén. The room was a real bungalow very spacious and cool. Food was very good and staff kind and available to help with anything.

Pros:

C'est un hôtel qui est un peu loin du centre donc de la route. Je suis venu à pied, cela se fait très bien et la balade le long du lac est jolie. Il est situé dans la verdure, très bien implanté, c'est très joli, la nourriture est excellente, l'eau est à disposition. J'avais pris un bungalow, grand, neuf, super, mais une problème dans la nuit. Le propriétaire est intervenu rapidement pour me proposer un autre bungalow. Super et merci encore.

El contacto con la naturaleza del lugar, ruido de monos. Que quede algo apartado del pueble, el que es muy ruidoso (motos y vehículos constantemente)

Pros:

De passage dans le Petén pour visiter Tikal, nous avons opté pour ce logement et c’était une très bonne surprise !
Les cabanes sont en pleine jungle, très propres, avec de l’eau chaude.
Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable. Nous nous sommes garés à l’entrée de l’hôtel, directement sur la route. Le lit était très confortable.
Petit point à noter : si vous avez de grosses valises, il faut prévoir quelques marches pour accéder aux cabanes.
Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps, mais notre vol nous attendait !
Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps d’essayer le restaurant de l’hôtel, mais nous sommes allés manger à la playa chez Jorge : leur poisson à la vapeur était exceptionnel.

Sehr schöne, ruhige und gut geführte Posada. Freundliches Personal, schöne Cabanas und leckeres Essen. Die Cabanas sind zweistöckig. Von dem oberen Teil aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See und den Dschungel.
