Everytime we visit Engelberg, Hotel Espen is our first choice.
Pros:

The location and the view from the balcony is just beautiful. Very comfortable rooms and the staff is very welcoming.

Pros:

Great location, clean hotel, and a very peaceful stay. Traveled for a solo weekend of skiing and really enjoyed walking around town, easy access to the main gondola from the hotel

Engelberg ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Skifahrende und Wanderer .
Pros:

Die Lage Eingangs Dorf, direkt an der Hauptstrasse ist, trotz des regen Autoverkehrs, ruhig. In 10 Gehminuten entlang der Bahnlinie ist man im Dorfzentrum. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und schön, modern.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Die Toilettenbürste sollte dringend ausgewechselt werden.
Im Sofabereich fehlt eine Lichtquelle um auch in der Dämmerung lesen zu können.
