Pros:

Great location, clean hotel, and a very peaceful stay. Traveled for a solo weekend of skiing and really enjoyed walking around town, easy access to the main gondola from the hotel

Engelberg ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Skifahrende und Wanderer .
Pros:

Die Lage Eingangs Dorf, direkt an der Hauptstrasse ist, trotz des regen Autoverkehrs, ruhig. In 10 Gehminuten entlang der Bahnlinie ist man im Dorfzentrum. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und schön, modern.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Die Toilettenbürste sollte dringend ausgewechselt werden.
Im Sofabereich fehlt eine Lichtquelle um auch in der Dämmerung lesen zu können.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können nur empfehlen
Pros:

Sehr gute, günstige Lage, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und der Seilbahnen zum Titlis, sehr freundliches Personal, das gerne hilft und alles erklärt, das Hotel ist sauber, auch die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist ebenfalls hervorragend und bietet gute Preise.

Der Raum war etwas lärmig, ansonsten okay

- Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal
- Sauber und modern

Cons:

- Ich habe ein Bett im Massenlager gebucht. Die Umsetzung im Hotel Espen ist im Gegensatz zu anderen Massenlager (z.B. in SAC-Hütten) etwas unlogisch: Im 12-Massenlager hat es im gleichen Raum das WC, die Dusche und das Lavabo. Dadurch herrscht die ganze Nacht Lärm, weil die Leute Licht machen müssen, um Zähne zu putzen, zu duschen oder die Toilette zu benutzen. Am Morgen das gleiche Problem. Besser wäre es wohl, die Sanitäranlagen ausserhalb zu platzieren.
