Pros:

Every service provided during our stay was absolutely excellent. The staff was incredibly attentive, and everything ran perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Hotel ambient was good.

Cons:

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel GM/Manager was very rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He did not know how to communicate with guests politely and was unwilling to assist with even basic concerns. Instead of trying to resolve the issues, he kept arguing. When I requested a refund due to the poor experience, he became angry rather than handling the situation professionally.
The entire incident occurred during the check-in process itself, which created a very negative first impression. I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor customer service and unprofessional behavior of the management.

Surprisingly good.
Pros:

Conveniently located on the wide road with ample parking space and easy access to train, buses and Ganges. Spick and span property with Indian heritage inspired interiors. You can see that they have really put in efforts to make the stay comfortable for the guests. I loved things like cloth line in the washroom, nice toileteries and a good quality towels. Staff is hospitable and warm. The restaurants serves good meal options.

There was nothing to dislike.

The best property I’ve had the privilege of staying in

I had beyond an amazing experience here. I originally booked for only a few nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Everyday I was met with amazing staff who helped me with autos and prepared amazing food. I stayed in 3 different rooms over the course of my stay, each room was STUNNING and well maintained. It’s so well located, removed from some of the madness but a close walk to all the main areas. It also was on a nice street near the Ganges. I’m considering coming back very soon I just loved this property so much thank you to all who helped and looked after me, it meant the world! I’ve been traveling for a very long time and this was a perfect end of my 3 months in India.

Cons:

Nothing bad in my entire 2 week stay.

Schlichtes, nettes Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet, viel interessante Kunst. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, sauber und in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Cons:

Das Standard-DZ war ziemlich eng mit wenig Ablagemöglichkeit und recht stickig.

Familiar and hospitable
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Sethi legacy. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable and the hotel includes a restaurant with a variety of tasty food. The location is good, the central Ghat is closeby and can be well reached with a TucTuc.
What impressed me the most, however, was the staff and especially the manager Manoj. He is one of those guys with whom you can chat about "God and the world" while having a lunch in the restaurant. It is all very personal and familiar and I think that this is what makes a stay at Sethi legacy really recommendable.
