Centraal gelegen hotel, van alle gemakken voorzien
Pros:

Leuk hotel in een oud klooster op zeer goede locatie middenin de stad, áán de GR5 die wij aan het wandelen zijn. De kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt is heerlijk en we kregen een lekker lunchpakket mee. Alle gezellige restaurantjes waren in de buurt. Omdat het regende konden we gratis een paraplu lenen.

Cons:

Het inchecken verliep efficiënt via een iPad. We hebben dit echter ook als erg onpersoonlijk ervaren, toen we bijna klaar waren kwam er pas iemand aan de balie. Bij t uitchecken hebben we zelfs helemaal niemand meer gezien.
Voor het zwembad moesten we 20 euro betalen, erg veel voor als je even een duik wil nemen… het bleek later ook dicht te zijn…

Gebouw zag er mooi uit van buiten, maar geluidsoverlast spande de kroon.
Pros:

Locatie in het centrum van Herentals, parking achter het hotel. Ontbijt genoeg keuze, maar niet speciaal bv. geen verse sinaasappelsap. Kamer was ruim.

Cons:

Er zat een jeugdhuis/disco achter het hotel. Ramen leken nieuw, maar met ramen dicht klonk de muziek (tot na 3 uur s nachts ) even hard als open. Niemand aan receptie gezien en ook geen gehoor gekregen over mijn klacht. Hoofdkussens waren oud of heel vaak in wasmachine geweest. Koffiekoeken doorsnijden om zo meer op je buffet te hebben liggen is een no go.

Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en super lekker. Met zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Het was het gehorig, hoorde de buurman douchen en mensen boven ons heen en weer lopen. En er was geen uitzicht, grote glazen dak was ons uitzicht

Good for a short stay
Pros:

I liked how close it was to Bobbejaanland

Cons:

Very old-fashioned and the hallways were a little scary. The place holds a lot of Christiane history and we did not know that before we booked.
