Impressive timber-framed Hotel blending with the surrounding forest.
Pros:

The architecture and facilities are one of the best I have ever seen in Japan. Architect Shigeru Ban designed a timber-framed Hotel that blends very well with the surrounding forest. Impressive Grand Room filled with environmentally made furniture crafted by artisans.

建物にこだわりを感じた。どこを見ても絵になった。

Cons:

食事をそれぞれ自分で選ぶコースを事前に予約していたが、5品中3品ほど用意できないため選ぶことができなかった。ファーストドリンクが出るまで30分以上かかり、5品しかないのにコースが終わるまでに2時間以上かかっていた。事前にアレルギーがあると伝えていたが、対応されておらず別食材で対応お願いしたができないと言われた。

It is a truly great place to rest and chill and just do nothing, doesn’t have much other facilities for you to use thoug
Pros:

We love the architecture of the place, it is well designed and have fully display how architect play a great part in our daily life, the living experience is more unique than any other places.

Cons:

We have to respect the designer have put a lot of thought on the space, but the bathroom is a bit awkward, is open space. We don’t fully like it, but it is a design that we should learn to appreciate.
