Die Familie ist überaus nett, wir waren schon vor einigen Jahren im Hotel. Die Lage ganz nah an Thamel, aber auch am Bus nach Pokhara ist super!

밤에 도착했는데 마중 나와주시고, 택시비로 루피가 부족했는데 빌려주셨어요ㅠㅠ 친절에 감동했습니다. 직접 숙소 안내도 해주시고 조식도 든든하게 먹었고 맛있었어요! 커피도 리필 해주시구요 1박 2일로 짧게 머물었는데 아쉬울 정도였습니다.

타멜거리에서 약간 벗어나 있어서 걱정했는데, 도보로 이동하는데 아무 문제 없고 타멜에서 떨어져 있어서 동네가 오히려 조용하고 너무 쾌적했습니다.

My wife and I booked Hotel Family Ties after researching many places to stay in Kathmandu. We were not disappointed! As many reviews noted, the rooms were clean, well maintained, and in perfect working order. Narayan was a wonderful host, helping us book taxis as needed, personally transporting us to and from the airport, and generally being of service for any advice or needs. As sometimes happens, we also needed some flexibility because of weather delays in starting our trek - this was no problem as we booked additional nights. We also arrived during Dashain and were graciously invited to celebrate with Narayan and his family. We had not booked a place to stay post-trekking, but after how happy we were with our choice, we booked for 2 nights for after our trek. We highly recommend Hotel Family Ties!

Great stay. Comfy beds, great balcony with a view to the hills, to a few snowy mountain tops and to roofs around. Peaceful surroundings, yet close to Thamel. Good breakfast and very welcoming host.

Great place to stay in Kathmandu - the family that run the hotel take excellent care of their guests, they happily checked us in when we arrived mid-morning and even invited us to join their Dashain celebrations! Our family suite had two connected rooms with comfortable beds, two balconies and nets on windows, the rooftop with 360 degree views was a lovely spot for breakfast and drinks, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the location was fantastic - on a quiet street, easy to walk to Thamel, Durbar Square and other places, plus only 5 minutes by foot to the tourist buses. And when our bus, along with all the others, had to turn back due to a sudden landslide blocking the road to Pokhara the hotel owner managed to get us flights instead. He also arranged a driver to take us around the temples and a wonderful in room massage with Ramji of Relieving Hands. We are very glad we stayed here and would definitely come back!

מנהל המלון היה קשוב ועזר בכל דבר ובקשה כולל ייעוץ בתכנון הטיול ורכישת כרטיסי נסיעה. גם שמר על החפצים שלי כשנסעתי לשבוע שלם.
יתר הצוות היה מקסים אדיב ומסייע בכל דבר באופן מיידי.
ארוחת בוקר הוגשה על הגג עם תצפית מדהימה להרים. החדר היה מצויין עם טלביזיה בלווין.

The host was super helpful n amicable. He also upgraded our room when we stayed here again back from Pokhara. He also booked our transport to Pokhara. Check the car type before confirming. Support staff are also good.

Spacious for a single room with a shower, large closet is one thing very helpful, best of all is the view from the balcony, a tiny table with 2 chairs perfectly fit, so my friend and I enjoyed breakfast every morning, by the way breakfast is included and always great!

Ho soggiornato due notti in questa struttura a ridosso di Thamel. Staff super gentile e premuroso. Camera pulita e confortevole.

滞在自体申し分ないですが、オーナーが日本語を話せるため、特に日本人におすすめします。

Shower with warm water.

Narayan and his staff cheerfully provided all of our expectations. The airport shuttle was a cost effective travel choice. Our flight was delayed and Narayan and the driver tracked our flight. It was wonderful to see our name in a sea of unknown faces upon arriving in an unknown country.
The rooftop garden area was an exceptional place to share our last delicious breakfast in Nepal.
I highly recommend Narayan and his staff at Hotel Family Ties!
