Pros:

Ein echtes verstecktes Juwel! Der Gastgeber ist unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Das Frühstück ist für den Preis außergewöhnlich gut. Besonders positiv: super flexibel – wir konnten spontan verlängern und auch Touren direkt vor Ort buchen. Auch ein später Check-out bis ca. 16 Uhr war kein Problem. Außerdem sprechen alle Mitarbeiter sehr gut Englisch.

Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – klare Empfehlung!

Mycket bra boende som rekommenderas starkt!
Pros:

Utmärkt läge vid havet. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående. Utmärkt internet. Stora fina rum och badrum. Ytterområden var välstädade.God frukost.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, good big room great facilities nice restaurant. Great outdoor space with hammocks etc.

Cons:

Due to erosion it no longer has an actual beach front. Is on the coast but no beach as such. Easy to walk to one. Hard to find also due to collapse of walkway.

Pros:

Appartement propre et fonctionnelle. Petite terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Ambiance relaxe.

Cons:

Le coin n'est pas couvert par l'application "pick me", et pas trop de tuk-tuk dans le secteur. Il faut appeler pour en avoir un et les prix sont de fait plus élevés. Même si l'établissement est propre, les plastiques sur les plages et terrains environnants gâchent cet endroit qui pourrait être paradisiaque.

Pros:

Absolut traumhaft gelegen und sehr zu empfehlen!! Sehr nettes und stets bemühtes Personal und gemütliche Atmosphäre, es hat auch ein Restaurant direkt dort und man kann auch baden am nahen Strand.
Es hat direkt eine Kiteschule in der Unterkunft, man kann dort auch Material mieten. Sehr faire Preise und super guter Kite-Unterricht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, vielen Dank!

Cons:

Wir hatten unser Zimmer im Dachstock und es hatte keine Klimaanlage (aber Ventilatoren), was zu grosser Hitze während der Nacht geführt hat. Dies ist aber dadurch bedingt, dass die Hütte aus Naturmaterialien gebaut ist und die Wände und das Dach nicht ganz abschliessen. Dies hat aber auch einen Charme - man hört in der Nacht das Rauschen des Meers und das Rascheln der Palmenblätter.😊

Pros:

Die Zimmer waren gut.
Besonders toll war der Wasserhahn vor den Zimmer um.sich den Sand von den Füßen zu spülen. Der Strand direkt an der Unterkunft ist nicht so schön.
Zum Kiten fährt man mit Boot oder TukTuk. das ist super

Ci ritornerei
Pros:

Abbiamo fatto 3 notti, seppur siamo rimasti per poco tempo ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Tutto lo staff premuroso e gentilissimo, il proprietario è un tipo fantastico che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. L'istruttore di Kite mi ha portato dal non sapere nemmeno come si tiene in mano la barra a montare sulla tavola. A primo impatto sembra abbandonato ma appena giri l'angolo c'è vita. Stanza spaziosissima con zanzariera e vari appendini, bagno altrettanto spazioso con doccia calda anche se poca pressione ma questo pare sia un problema in tutto lo Sri Lanka. Fuori c'è l'appendino, cosa molto utile. Il villaggio è fornito di bar, ristorante e scuola di Kitesurf. Anche questi importanti visto che nel paese non c'è molto in giro.
Unica nota dolente, l'entrata è un po erosa dalle ultime onde del mal tempo ma la sistemazione non dipende da loro.

Pros:

Die Anlage war gepflegt.
Das Zimmer war groß und durch die Hocheben gut aufgeteilt.
Unser Balkon hatte Meeeblick.

Zum Kiten ist die Lage ideal.
Für Strandurlaub ist das Meer (im August) nicht so schön.

Unvergessliches Erlebnis
Pros:

Wir hatten einen ganz wundervollen Aufenthalt im Surfpoint Kalpitiya. Von Anfang an haben wir uns unglaublich wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das gesamte Team ist sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und man spürt, dass sie mit viel Liebe und Freude für die Gäste da sind. Der vorhandene Basketball Court am Strand war für unsere Kinder ein Highlight.
Das Essen war großartig – abwechslungsreich, frisch und jeden Abend ein besonderes Highlight. Für uns wurde außerdem eine Safari über die Lagune organisiert, die reibungslos geklappt hat und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war.
Wir haben alle Menschen dort sehr ins Herz geschlossen und sind dankbar für diese schöne Zeit. Ein Ort, den wir absolut weiterempfehlen können – wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Close to paradise !
Pros:

Staff super friendly. Very cool and laid back atmosphere with local life, kids and families passing through which makes the location very vibrant. Rooms comfortable with good AC. Good food menu with lots of choice , wraps are excellent!
Kite school with top notch instructor and staff who really look after you.

Cons:

With a little more attention to simple details the property would be just perfect: for ex: a few more long chairs on the beach, some tea / coffee bags next to the kettle in the room, shampoo in the bathroom…
the surroundings need some clean up after the damages created by the recent high tides that have eaten up the property beach.

Splendida accoglienza
Pros:

Personale gentilissimo, c'è un'atmosfera molto accogliente. Camere spaziose e struttura proprio sul mare. Il posto del kitesurf è veramente unico e gli istruttori sono molto seri e pazienti. Eravamo due famiglie con quattro bambini e siamo stati tutti benissimo :)

Cons:

Unica nota triste: nell'ultimo anno ill mare si è mangiato la spiaggia davanti all'albergo, ma è ancora possibile fare il bagno lì accanto
