Wonderful escape in Katherine. Totally recommend.
Pros:

Rooms are spacious. Grounds are amazing and restaurant fantastic. Food is exceptional. Lovely Oasis. Will be back.

Rooms are a little dated and showers need upgrading as slow to get hot and then too hot.

Friendly, comfortable motel accommodation in spacious park like grounds.
Pros:

The motel is located on spacious park like grounds with established trees and lawns, and was very quiet overnight. We also loved the pool.

Cons:

Bathroom was a little dated, but totally adeqaute.

Out standing. Everything was very good.
Pros:

Everything was perfect. From the time you check in, the staff were kind and very easy to check in. To the easy assess to the rooms, comfortable beds, to the beautiful refreshing pool. Was so good.
The place felt safe. But the thing I love the most was the 10/10 food. The best steak I have ever eaten. The food quality was so outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Dinner restaurant and their staff, tidiness of outside hotel area and facilities

Bathroom facilities 40+ years old

Severe gap in front door: as you can see on the photo attached, when fully closing the front sliding door, there was a 2cm gap along the frame. When addressing this to the receptionist upon checkout, they wrote it down for their facilities team to fix it, however they also found multiple excuses for this: this is a very old place and so many things need to get fixed, the place just got bought by new owners etc. I understand all of this, but a 2cm gap along the main door must get addressed with highest priority as you don’t want spiders in your room each day.

Breakfast: we stayed at the hotel at the end of wet season so not many tourists were around at that time. It seems like the breakfast team put out the same fruit basket each day, including cut oranges and watermelons. Below the cut oranges I found 2 dead flies, and the watermelons were mouldy (see photos).

It was a great stay, thank you so much.
Pros:

It was comfortable, great location, secure, staff were exceptional and flexible.

Cons:

Hot water was inconsistent and shower pressure low. Shower head is really old and looks unappealing. Shower curtains didn’t stop water from shower wetting the floor (sorry). Rats were heard running behind the wall above our heads early in the morning.
