De aankleding is mooi en de mensen die in het hotel werken & op het dakterras bij het restaurant zijn echt heel erg aardig. Voelden ons warm ontvangen en zijn goed geholpen toen we een arts nodig hadden
De badkamer was niet super schoon, nu deelden wij hem ook met mensen die de bril onder plasten en het wc papier natmaakten dus daar kunnen zij niet zoveel aan doen. Wel heeft 1 van ons een uitslag gekregen door het dekbed, dit zou door kakkerlakken kunnen komen. Ten slotte hoor je de mensen heel hard praten op de gang vanuit je kamer, ook snachts
Very cute Hotel, with amazing furniture and vibe. All the staff are also really really nice and the rooftop terrace is lovely!
Het personeel was enorm hartelijk en behulpzaam. Het dakterras was de ideale plek om even van de hectische stad te ontsnappen. Lekkere momo’s!
I stayed at Newa Home before and after my Trekking trip and I was really happy with my stay. The rooms are spot on, the roof top is fantastic and the location is great for getting around Thamel in Kathmandu.
I couldn't recommend this more.

Horrible Experience with COCKROCHES!, we arrived first night 11 pm, we went to our room and there where COCKROCHES on the bed, later on the wall, they tooked away and we said like ok lets sleep its late, lets not fight...
Then we got itchy, it was BED BUGS, hot water didtn work, wifi was reslly intermitent some time and not stable for remote work. The room isolation is not good, you can feel people snoring and spitting at your side, also of you get a room on the window you will here evryone passing, honks, etc... Price is low but experience its lower.
I can say the people serving are really nice and the terrace has good momos, but if you get a room on the first floor prepare to suffer, cockroches, bed bugs, no water, screaming. You will get one of thoose experience that you tell your friends that you low budget back pack too much!
Awesome staff especially Nickish who was always, smiling, helpful and professional, nothing was too much of a bother. Lovely having a roof top garden and food and drink service up there with friendly staff too.
I would have preferred a reading lamp and an electric kettle, there was a gas cook top for use
They are just amazing. Stay was amazing with them and the staffs were the coolest. Loved the place and If I visit again, I will only pick them!
The location is central close to thamel. The staff is very friendly. I stayed over a month I need a good wifi to work, Nikhilesh the owner arranged a new router and resolved the wifi issues
Nothing as such, the rooms are bit traditional.. kitchen area needs tiling and modrenise and windows are dirty and very old
Very good location, the street is quite quiet and very close to everything in Thamel. The staff are very good and they have a really nice rooftop.

The rooftop terrace is super nice. The location is very good, the street is relatively quiet and it's close to everything.
I liked the hotel's interior in traditional Nepalese style and the room had everything necessary for living (except towels)
There was an air conditioner in the room that could be used for heating, but I was afraid to turn it on because the outdoor unit was covered with a thick layer of dirt and bird droppings. I don’t know if it is ever cleaned or not, but it looked unsafe for health.
In addition, the room was very noisy because there are wooden grilles in the bathroom and above the entrance door, and the corridors have strong acoustics, so all outside conversations freely came into my room.
The worst part is that the reception lobby here is used as a garage for motorbikes. One night I was woken up by someone parking their bike at the reception. It was so loud, as if the bike was being parked right next to my bed.
Very affordable, nice rooms and terrace very nice too.
Receptionist in morning took very long time for me to check out, I had flight to catch. He didn’t know how to use card machine.
It’s super close to the city and very easy to reach , and everything is near by , the people working there is very polite and well mannered and so helpful
