Perfekter Ort zum Abschalten

- ruhig und ideal zum entspannen
- direkter Zugang zum Meer
- abgeschottet vom ganzen Trubel
- laundry service inklusive
- die tolle Architektur und Botanik
- sehr aufmerksames und gastfreundliches Personal das uns jeden Wunsch erfüllen möchte und immer geholfen hat

Insgesamt haben wir uns absolut wohl gefühlt und das war definitiv einer der besten Spots um einfach mal abzuschalten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. ❤️

- Cappuccino hat uns nicht gefallen vom Geschmack
- manches auf der Karte war nicht mehr verfügbar. Die granola zB konnte am 3. Tag immer noch nicht zubereitet werden aufgrund fehlender Zutaten. War nicht schlimm, aber Organisation kann hier verbessert werden.

Une expérience fabuleuse
Pros:

Absolument tout.
Le cadre est merveilleux et le personnel est extrêmement chaleureux et aimable, ils rendent service en permanence et prennent soin de nous comme des membres d’une famille. Nous avons rarement été dorloté comme cela.
La cuisine est fabuleuse, très savoureuse et heathy.
La chambre est très agréable, tout est pensé pour que l’on passe un bon moment.
La piscine également, très chouette. Les balades sur la mer en marée basse grâce aux accès directs. Nous avons passé 4 jours fabuleux !! Merciiii à toute l’équipe du Kazikula, nous reviendrons !!!

Al het personeel is oprecht vriendelijk en iedereen spreek perfect Engels. Sommige ook Duits en Frans. Eten was elke dag een genot en heel divers. Gratis gebruik van fietsen, snorkel spullen, kano, SUP-boards, waterschoenen, spelletjes etc. Water is altijd gratis. Aks je gewoon even lekker boekje gaat lezen komt iemand je gelijk een glas water brengen. Totaal niet ziek geworden van eten of drinken,

Niet dat het echt tegen viel en we wisten het ook wel maar het resort is beetje afgelegen. Wel dicht bij een dorpje maar even naar een supermarkt inkopen doen is er niet zomaar bij. Voor bijna alles moet je een taxi pakken. Die zijn niet duur maar ook niet super goedkoop. Ik heb wel veel gewandekd en gefietst en dat was gewoon echt geweldig daar. Lokale bevolkig is zo vriendelijk.

Heaven on earth.
Pros:

I could write a novel about how much we loved our stay at Kizikula. Hands down the best hotel we ever experienced. The location is quite remote and makes it feel as if you’re alone on the island, it’s so peaceful. The amenities are beautiful, the rooms are so well curated, the pool/bar area is to die for. It always felt as if we were the only ones in the hotel even though it was quite full, because the lounge spaces are so well designed and are at a distance from each other. There is so much to do, from snorkelling to paddling to kayaking to yoga to walking around looking at all the beautiful plants and nature, to swimming in the gorgeous pool, to gazing at the perfect sunset views. Cannot forget the food: it was simply one of the best hotel restaurants we ever tasted. And of course, the highlight of the hotel is their staff. Nema, Enock, Yasmine, and all the others, thank you so much for not only your hospitality but your genuine warmth and kindness. We cannot wait to visit you again one day.

Unser Aufenthalt im Kizikula Hotel war einfach außergewöhnlich. Schon bei der Ankunft spürt man, dass dieses Hotel mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail geplant und geführt wird.

Unser Zimmer war wunderschön – architektonisch extrem durchdacht, hochwertig umgesetzt und mit sehr feinen, regional ausgewählten Materialien gestaltet. Man merkt in jedem Detail, dass hier Gestaltung nicht nur Dekoration ist, sondern ein ganzheitliches Konzept. Als Architektin war ich besonders beeindruckt, wie konsequent die Gestaltung bis ins Kleinste umgesetzt wurde – sogar Elemente der Terrassen wurden gemeinsam mit den Architekten entwickelt und aus lokalen Materialien gefertigt. Alles wirkt stimmig, ruhig und sehr hochwertig.

Die gesamte Anlage ist ein Ort der Ruhe. Man nimmt andere Gäste kaum wahr und hat das Gefühl, einen ganz privaten Rückzugsort gefunden zu haben. Die Lage ist traumhaft – je nach Gezeiten verändert sich der Strand komplett: Bei Flut kann man wunderbar Stand-up-Paddeln, bei Ebbe entlanglaufen bis zur Sandbank. Es ist jedes Mal ein neues Erlebnis.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service: Jede einzelne Person im Team war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Die Managerin Jasmine hat uns sogar persönlich durch die Anlage geführt und uns die Hintergründe zur Architektur und den Neubauten erklärt – man merkt, dass sie alles mit viel Engagement und Überblick führt.

Auch kulinarisch war es hervorragend: Das Essen ist frisch, kreativ und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Das Frühstück bietet eine kleine, feine Auswahl mit wechselnden Optionen, das Dinner-Menü ändert sich jeden Abend und auch die Lunch-Gerichte sind ausgezeichnet. Die Cocktails waren ebenfalls großartig – die Barkeeper waren nicht nur sehr freundlich, sondern auch kreativ.

Un petit hôtel ultra paisible niché au cœur d’une flore luxuriante.
Pros:

Nous avons adoré sejourné dans ce petit hotel tres charmant, ultra calme et intimiste, niché dans une jungle luxuriante.

Certes, il manque quelques petits ajustements : le service peut parfois être un peu lent et il y a deux ou trois détails à améliorer. Mais sincèrement, cela est largement compensé par le reste et cet hôtel n’a rien à envier aux autres établissements de la côte plus touristique.

Les chambres sont magnifiques, décorées avec énormément de goût, espacées les unes des autres et nichées au cœur de la jungle — on a vraiment l’impression d’être seuls au monde. L’atmosphère est paisible, dépaysante et authentique. La literie etait de très bonne qualité.

La nourriture était excellente, et surtout, le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable. Un merci tout particulier à Yasmine, la manager, qui est absolument adorable et qui contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour spécial.

Un hôtel avec une vraie âme, que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Cons:

Si vraiment il y a un défaut à noter, pas de volet ou de rideaux occultants dans les chambres.

A truly special jungle sanctuary
Pros:

Stunning remote location in one of the most peaceful corners of the island, with original and interesting architecure and design touches throughout. We enjoyed the simple but tasty Swahili food and really appreciated the exceptionally kind and warm-hearted staff. The natural pool was also lovely, especially after the water had been changed.

Cons:

Some of the facilities - pool chairs, etc. - are quite worn and should be replaced. Mattress and bedding could have been better quality as well.

Un parfait séjour relax et anti foule
Pros:

Un peu loin de la plage nord de Zanzibar, celui ci a pourtant beaucoup de charme et les plus beaux couchés de soleil. Il est moins fréquenté par un tourisme de masse. La plage à marée haute (matin et après midi ) est accessible par un escalier creusé dans la roche. La chambre est magnifique il y en a deux à marée haute connaissance au rez de chaussée et la mienne a l étage donc une vue plus dégagée. La mer se devinait depuis ma chambre. La cuisine bio est délicieuse. Tout le monde aux petits soins. Je pense que l hotel plaira aux personnes aimant un lieu authentique, sans bling bling. Le personnel est adorable on peux pas être plus gentil. Donc il mérite aussi des clients appréciant une autre philosophie du voyage. Un grand merci aux équipes !

Wundervolles Hotel in naturbelassender Lage
Pros:

Das Essen war super - von der Qualität bis hin zur Vielfalt, wir haben es geliebt. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, hätte ich ab und an gerne etwas mehr gegessen, grundsätzlich war es aber "genug".

Der Ausblick und die Zimmer sind wunderschön - es fehlt an nichts & gibt hier keine Verbesserungsvorschläge.

Cons:

Ich hätte mir im Outdoorgym ggfls. noch ein Bike oder Laufband gewünscht, dann würden wir 9/10 Sternen geben.

Amateur hour from start to finish
Pros:

Quiet - although the hotel seem to have a policy that non guests who come for drinks/food can stay all day and use the pool, sunbeds and paddle boards, which is very disappointing but unsurprising.

Nice rooms but impractical as privacy is limited - only door to the room is entirely glass.

Nice pool and unique beach access.

Free paddle boards and bikes but bikes are not maintained and brakes do not work on any of them.

Friendly staff but poorly trained.

Cons:

We stayed for 4 nights over new years in the Melene room and the disappointment began as soon as we got off the plane.

Day 1:
- we had trouble with our hire car at the airport and wanted to contact the airport, but the number on booking does not work.
- entrance to the hotel isn’t signposted and not particularly put together, with no clear signage to where reception is.
- we were directed to the bar which we assumed doubled up as reception where staff took our passports for 10 mins without any communication about what was happening. We also did not sign any documents which is very bizarre.
- although the rooms are nice, they are not very private as the only door is entirely glass.
- staff came on our balcony without announcing themselves. I walked out of the dressing room to find them and luckily I was fully clothed. I told this to the staff but they just laughed.
- dinner is expensive and everything is bizarrely done through WhatsApp, even the menu. The dining area is sterile and as the paths and pool are poorly lit at night, there is no where to sit after dinner to enjoy a drink. I would recommend bringing a torch.
- cocktails are weak and selection of soft drinks is limited.

Day 2:
- breakfast is nice but service is painfully slow, so much so that we received our coffees after we finished eating our breakfast.
- staff do not come around asking if you would like drinks while at your sunbed, so if you would like a drink you have to go up to the bar.
- we ordered 2 cappuccinos to have by our sunbeds which sat there all day without being cleared away.
- took 20 mins to get our drinks at lunch which were already bottled.
- food options are underwhelming and given it is a beachfront hotel, there is one fish option and veggie options are poor and unimaginative.

Magnifique séjour dans cet hotel !
Pros:

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cet hôtel ! La chambre est immense, confortable et élégamment décoré. La piscine avec vue, et les transats face à la mer permettent de profiter pleinement du paysage et de la tranquillité.

Le personnel est incroyablement accueillant et attentionné, toujours prêt à rendre notre séjour parfait. Chaque détail est soigné, comme dans les magazines de voyage.

La cuisine est excellente, avec des plats raffinés et savoureux qui font de chaque repas un vrai plaisir. Le petit déjeuner inclus est délicieux. Paddle et kayak à disposition. Resort sécurisé.

Un vrai coup de cœur !
