Wir hatten einen aussergewöhnlichen Winterurlaub zum Geburtstag und haben es sehr genossen
Pros:

Der Service war toll, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Frühstück und Restaurant waren hervorragend und köstlich.
Die Gondel sowie auch die Bäder waren sehr nah erreichbar.
Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, ein grosses Dankeschön und gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Aussicht beim Frühstück, die Nähe zur Torrentbahn, die Nähe zur Therme und zur Ortsmitte.
Das Essen und der Service am Abend waren grossartig.

Wir haben zum ersten Mal in dieser wunderbaren Stadt und in diesem großartigen Hotel übernachtet. Gleich bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Vielen Dank für die sofortige Hilfe beim Parken und die freundliche Orientierung.

Das Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber, gemütlich und für ein verliebtes Paar ein äußerst romantischer Ort. Der Ausblick vom Fenster und vom Balkon war unvergesslich. Uns hat wirklich alles gefallen – vom Moment der Ankunft bis zur letzten Minute der Abreise.

Das Restaurant am Abend war sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre romantisch und gemütlich. Auch das Frühstück war auf einem sehr hohen Niveau.

Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel zurückkehren, um unsere Zeit dort erneut zu genießen, denn die Eindrücke vom Hotel haben unsere gesamte Reise wunderbar ergänzt. Vielen herzlichen Dank für Ihre Aufmerksamkeit, Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft.

Au Waldhaus, on est comme à la maison.

Cons:

Tout était parfait. Si j’avais juste une doléance, nous avons mangé au restaurant de l’hôtel et nous avons pris une fondue Waldhaus. Le serveur nous a présenté un plat magnifique avec viandes et fruits et rapidement parti avec pour nous charger l’assiette. Franchement, avec une présentation aussi belle, poser le plat sur la table et laisser le client choisir. En plus, on peut prendre le temps d’une belle photo et on sait où mettre les aliments cuits 😉

Charming chalet atmopshere, dramatic alpine views, lovely hosts, great food!
Pros:

We LOVED our stay at Waldhaus Leukerbad. I was looking for a place to give visiting friends a taste of charming Swiss chalet / alpine atmosphere, and this hotel was perfect. What an idyllic spot. The hotel is situated right at the top of the village, nestled up against the forest, with spectacular views, many walks (and in winter, skiing) beckoning right out the front door. We signed up for the multicourse pension dinner, and loved every course! All at an incredibly reasonable price. The hotel gives special attention to the marvelous wines of the Valais (this region of Switzerland). We ordered wines by the glass in order to taste a variety - including a lovely white house assemblage of Chardonnay and Heida. The staff are so kind and attentive. Our friends also enjoyed the extensive collection of Grappa! Last but not least, our little chihuahua was thrilled with the special attention, bowls and blanket laid out for him, and even a bag of treats that our picky eater actually loved! What a delight all around.

Cons:

Not a "dislike" but just a warning for those driving that the road to Leukerbad is long and dramatic with many sharp switchbacks. It's very well maintained, and part of the total experience, but something to be aware of. Your reward for the effort awaits you at the top.

Pros:

The services is outstanding, very friendly and helpful, the hotel is nice but room was outdated and without a view, restaurant unfortunately was not good, breakfast simple. Hotel is located a bit further but all still reachable on foot.
