Lovely cosy hotel, with countryside views from the rooms.
Pros:

Our room was very cosy. On the evening, we had a lovely meal in the bar area. The chicken skewers were delicious. This hotel/pub must be lovely in the summer, when people can sit out under the tepee like structure. It was so pretty on a night with the lights all around it. On the morning, the hotel provided the biggest breakfast ever! We would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

We missed the initial sign for the hotel. A sign as you are approaching would have been nice, as the entrance is very near some traffic lights. We ended up quickly pulling into the exit...... luckily, there weren't any cars coming the other way!

Enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay again as long as it was in a room away from the road.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, lovely food. Breakfast choice very good. Clean spacious rooms except for our 1st room!!

Cons:

1st night room was very noisy with the traffic noise keeping us awake most of the night and customers sitting outside below our window making a noise talking etc due to windows not being very sound proof. Complained the following morning to staff who immediately rectified this by offering to change our room for our 2nd night stay. We were very happy with our new room being at the back of the building being slightly quieter and smelling fresher as the 1st room smelt of the drains.

Good location for Lichfield with the bus stop round the corner.
Pros:

We had booked for Bed and Breakfast and assumed we would get a full breakfast of starter and main item. Surprised that we were limited by the amount of £12.99.

Cons:

Room too warm.
