Very high class
Clean, tidy and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Very tasty vegetarian options in breakfast. The location is very close to Snowdon mountain train station.
Twin bed joined to make a big bed.
Excellent location and friendly staff
Nothing
A pleasant hotel in a brilliant location, very comfortable room and good breakfast options. Staff were mostly very friendly and helpful, parking was no problem and we enjoyed an evening meal in the bar on one occasion. The hotel is well situated for Snowdon, there are a number of lovely walks straight out of the hotel, lake Padarn is worth heading to, although just at the moment, there is only a small section of the rail tour open, but there are extensive walking options around the lake for a pleasant amble. The Sherpa bus service is an excellent way to get around, relaxing and saves the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park in the more popular areas.
Wasn’t too keen on the rather large cobweb in the bathroom, or being charged over £20 for 2 gin & tonics, especially when the gin in question retails at £18 a bottle 😳!
Room and bed comfortable
Breakfast good some decent choices
Great location, near Mt Snowdon train , and the bus Interchange. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely outlook. The staff were friendly and the meals , delicious.
Beautiful Hotel in a great location, with nice gardens looking out toward the lake. Directly across from Railway, and main hiking path up to Snowdon summit.
It was not worth the money. For £180.00 per night, you should at least get a free bottle of water in the room. Getting to third floor rooms is like navigating a maze, and requires two separate lifts.
The stay.
The food.
The staff
Nothing.
Location amazing, breakfast N/A
Shower door didn't shut flush
Setting really good
Convenient for mountain
Great food
Ceiling light not working
Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant food was reasonable. Bed was comfy
Room size was small. Bathroom was small and tired as well. The fact that we booked over six months in advance and we ended up with a room at the top back end of the hotel.
Lovely historic hotel.
Stayed many times in the last thirty years and never been disappointed.👌😊
The location was great, food was ok.
The room kettle did not work and was reported to reception but nothing was done. pretty poor to be honest.
The room was poor value and expensive for what was a very basic room, mould on the bath and shower.
not a nice hotel at all, they could do much better. We would not stay again.
Excellent location, so close to the Llanberis train station and the slate quarry as well as the venue for the Slateman Triathlon. The restaurant also is excellent
Interiors slightly old, and due to high season we paid quite a high price. But for the location it was worth it I suppose
