Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was excellent, about 100yards from the Snowdon mountain railway.
We have no complaints we had a
Location and general ambiance.
Your records will show that I rang the night porter in the small hours and complained about the loud sound of running water from faulty plumbing was not allowing me to sleep and said that I wished to change rooms. He left a note for reception staff. I recorded the sound and played this to the reception staff in the morning and asked '"could you sleep through that?''.
They were very apologetic and agreed that this was completely unacceptable and arranged for me to change rooms and , I believe, made the room unavailable.
I then had the inconvenience of carrying my luggage etc to my new room on another floor.
Although I received an apology from the reception desk I would have expected that hotel management would have been informed and would have recognised that it was appropriate in this circumstance to waive the charge for that night. A simple 'sorry' is not in my view good enough for a hotel of your standing.
It will be interesting to see whether I receive a response to this feedback.
Breakfast was superb and just the tonic for a hike up Yr Wyddfa.
My bed mattress was a bit too hard.
Location, clean and comfortable
Great location clean rooms relatively modern
Expensive food I thought. Great choice but on the pricy side for what you got. We also were in the coach house and the other room in the same booking was in the main hotel. Would have been nice to be closer
We ate in the bar on the evening of the Sunday. Food was typical bar food. Chloe who was on duty in the bar was charming and very helpful. The selection for breakfast was great, although a little cold.
Stayed there previously so knew what to expect.
Perfect location for walks on Snowdon
Perfect location, the Llanberis path up to Snowdon ends right oppose the hotel
Rooms are clean & comfortable.
Bar is really nice with good food.
Breakfast is fabulous, just what you need to set you up for a day on the moutain!
Nothing, its great
Location
Lovely old traditional Welsh hotel - modernised and well kept. Rooms spacious and bathroom well appointed. Good breakfast !
Nothing really
Comfy bed , friendly staff , budget friendly , excellent location and gardens
Shower cubicle very very small getting waterboarded !
The staff were all really lovely, breakfast was fab and the location was great. The garden was also really nice especially given the sunny weather!
The room was very old, the door wouldn't open fully because it was small so would hit the bed. The radiator also came on in the night and it was absolutely roasting. No air con or fan in the room so was very uncomfortably hot. I turned it off but it didn't seem to do anything. The walls were also very thin so woke early by other guests and woke late in the night too when guests were moving around the building/talking etc
Loved the location, staff helpful and the restaurant food was really good. We would stay again.
Felt it was over priced the rooms are fine but not great. But do approaching for the location. For the price we paid would expect better toiletries, a proper coffee machine in room, nicer toiletries etc. also the room was comfortably hot.
Good old fashioned. Great staff throughout the stay. During the very windy and wet conditions we played dominoes with a pint or two!
