Overnight weekend break in Lymington
Pros:

Location in centre of town. Hotel accommodation and eating area self contained and separate from the main bar area. Good sized well furnished superior room worth the supplement. Sunday evening roast was very good and plentiful. Friendly attentive staff. Good value on a Sunday night rate.

Cons:

Breakfast OK but no starters or breads just the main course. Cooked breakfast included sliced white bread no options. No extras in the room like biscuits or bottled water.

Lovely hotel, will be back! Caring Reception and Bar Staff.
Pros:

Stayed at the hotel several times before but not since the room renovations - very impressed except for the bathroom blind didn’t work (when I reported it to housekeeping next morning they said they were aware….so why didn’t they fix it? Toilet faced the street so couldn’t put the light on!!
Fire alarm went off just after 4am (same last time I stayed there several years ago)! My son who was in the next room saw a member of staff when he came to bang on my door who told him there was no fire - very unnerving for me as I am over 80 years old.
I know that the hotel is haunted….!
Hasn’t put me off from staying again as it’s really central to the shops and I know it well. I was visiting my old aunt of 97 years so I’m sure that I will be back.

Cons:

Bathroom blinds

Pleasant stay at the Angel
Pros:

A fabulous welcome at reception by Carl who continued to be friendly throughout our stay. The staff generally were great.
Location perfect been situated in the high street so within walking distance of shops, eateries and bars.
Our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Unable to open the window any higher than 5" to get any air in the warm room as condensation was pouring down the windows.
This could be due to regulations.
