Fantastic location, comfortable spotlessly clean room, dog friendly, good parking and staff that were so very friendly and helpful. Had dinner and breakfast and both meals excellent.
Shower on the small side
Dinner and breakfast was amazing .gluten free sticky toffee was the best I had .
Gluten free toast egg and avocado for breakfast and huddy had full fry up.
Staff were so nice and friendly
Walking up lots and lots of stairs as room was top floor but room was so nice it was OK
Ambiente e ristorante
Il fatto di essere al terzo piano senza ascensore e scale strette per portare agevolmente i bagagli
we liked the location , staff & cleanliness, but facilities, building & surroundings were old & in need of upgrade badly. This made our stay difficult & challenging at times.
see above
The location could not be better, the staff were pleasant and the continental breakfast was good. Thank goodness for the fan in the room.
Make sure you speak directly with the hotel if you have mobility issues. My messages to the hotel on Booking.com were not received in time to address my requests or for the hotel to let me know that they could not be addressed.
Location great, staff are extremely helpful, polite, well mannered and attentive, food good, pub nice lay out, very organised, secure parking, our room was very spacious snd on two levels, bed very comfortable. Great location to get the wight link ferry.
Would’ve liked some bottled water in the room.
Location was perfect for our 1 night stsy
Breakfast was too late as had to catch a ferry back to Idle of Wight. 7.30 woukd have been better. Seemed short staffed and took a while to book in. Car park instructions could have been clearer.
Good location. Clean, well equipped rooms
Outside seating area needed refreshing.
We chose the hotel for the town location. It was very easy to walk to the shops, visit the harbour for fish and chips, take a train to other destinations.
We travelled on a very hot week so the hotel was uncomfortable. Once on the ferry, we had a call saying there were road works starting in the evening and going through till midnight. Will likely try another venue for our next visit.
The staff was super friendly and lovely
The room was under the roof and had the tiniest window. It felt like I was in a cellar and it was so hot and there wasn’t any AC.
Staff and Breakfast we're Brilliant!
The Irishman served a mean Breakfast.
As our room overlooked the main road.
It was a bit noisy! But really to be expected.
Light next to TV.
Central high street location and a 5 min walk to the quayside
Whilst the heat was an exception, the room was very warm and due to it being road racing not easy to have windows open.
Fan was appreciated though
The whole experience was brilliant, staff and food fantastic
It is a tatty hotel in the middle of Lymington very overpriced 3 nights, 3 different prices, when booking we were told same price for each night the room was only serviced if you asked, which we didnt know, hence our room was not serviced the 3 days. I think Marstons are only interested in grabbing your money and not serving the customer properly. Hard not to presume that you are being ripped off.
Amazing staff without exception. So friendly and helpful.
