Es war leider nur eine Uebernachtung, aber das ist ein Ort wo wir sicher wieder hingehen werden.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Es war alles dabei, was man sich unter Frühstück vorstellen kann. Sehr gastfreundlich.
Etwas abgelegen, vor allem, wenn die Bahn ihren Betrieb für einige Wochen eingestellt hat. Der Gastgeber hat uns in Mendrisio am Bahnhof abgeholt. Abenteuerliche Fahrt über schmale Strassen bis zur Osteria. Traumhaft schöne Lage.

Alles tipptopp - gerne wieder
Pros:

Um diese Jahreszeit war es sehr ruhig. Obwohl es einen Spielplatz hat, übernachteten nur Erwachsene. In der Nacht war es total still. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer (Dusche). Es gab auch einen Fön. Im Zimmer gab es einen Wasserkocher, um einen Tee oder Kaffee zu machen. Es gibt kein TV. Wir reisten mit der Monte Generoso Bahn an. Von der Station Bellavista läuft man einen knappen Kilometer durch den herbstlichen Wald leicht abwärts. Es gibt auch einen grossen öffentlichen Parkplatz gleich unterhalb der Osteria, der je nach Jahreszeit kostenpflichtig ist. Wir assen im Restaurant Abendessen à la carte. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert mit Brot, Gipfeli, butter, Konfitüre, gekochtes Ei, Birchermüesli, Käse und Schinken.
