The location and the view is in my opinion one of the best in Jebel Akhder
The fixed timing for meals, you can't order any food outside the meals time!
The quality of the breakfast is not so good, but have all essentials tbh
And the hairdryer was not working properly

The food smell was very strong. It felt like being in an Indian kitchen from the moment you entered the hotel entrance, corridors until inside the room.
We had trouble sleeping because of the smell in the room.

Room furniture, food was very poor, swimming pool has sharp edges and broken tiles, play ground not for small kids 2-3 years old
Tijdens ons verblijf in Sama Hotel in Jabal Akhdar hadden we een wat gemengde ervaring. Het personeel is goed: iedereen was erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. Ook het uitzicht is fenomenaal.
Het hotel zelf is echter verouderd en kan op meerdere punten wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. De kamers waren ok, maar ogen gedateerd. Hetzelfde geldt voor de ontbijtzaal, die wat sfeer en modernisering mist. Opvallend genoeg is de coffee shop juist wél mooi vernieuwd en modern ingericht, wat een groot contrast geeft met de rest van het hotel.
Het zwembad nodigde helaas niet echt uit om te zwemmen. Met wat meer groen, aankleding en extra parasols zou deze ruimte al een stuk aantrekkelijker worden.
Al met al geen slecht verblijf, maar gezien de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zouden wij een volgende keer kiezen voor een van de alternatieven in de buurt.
