Roop Niwas Kothi is a one of a kind heritage hotel. I went on a recommendation and I was interested in riding horses. I was completely delighted that I chose this location to be my last on my India trip as it was the highlight. A beautiful property of historic buildings, lovely gardens, and a magical feel...it makes you feel like you stepped into India of yesteryear. I was welcomed by Surendra, the general manager, who always went out his way to say a friendly hello and make sure everything was perfect during my stay. Meals were a delight. Breakfast offered a variety of cereals, juices, fruits, toast, and American or Indian dishes. Dinners were delicious with a varied menu, but I loved the Indian curries that I chose. The outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to spend the late afternoon having cocktails or later in the evening with a bonfire. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a beautifully modern bathroom. There is a beautiful pool with a serene setting but in January it was a bit to chilly to enjoy. The staff from the dining room to room service were all above and beyond accommodating. Now for the animals of the property. I so enjoyed watching peacocks, pigeons, parrots and other avian life frolic all around the property. And the stables were a true delight. Beautiful horses, not to mention the camel and cows, are all well tended to by Altaf and his staff. I had two really enjoyable rides into the neighboring countryside, with Altaf as my guide, which were a real delight. I would like to thank the owner of the property, Devendra, and his family for making such efforts to create and maintain such a wonderful property and experience as this........... and then sharing it with the world.
The wi-fi could use some improvements, in strength, in order to make wi-fi or messenger calls, and in coverage, covering more areas of the property.

The set up and design of the place
It needs to join hands with a reputed brand if it wants to survive.
