Pros:

Verzorgd ontbijt.
Goed restaurant op wandelafstand (werd gesuggereerd bij aankomst).

Cons:

Doordat ik de enige gast was, was er geen personeel aanwezig. Dat gaf een vreemd gevoel.
Wel telefonisch contact om aan de sleutel te geraken die in een kluisje lag. Dat was dus goed geregeld.
Voor het (eerder bescheiden) ontbijt werd goed en persoonlijk goed gezorgd.

Wonderful place, beautiful area.
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful place. Very nice scenery around it full of greeness and trees. The breakfast was fantastic, very delicious. The room was lovely and the windows are amazing. All the paintings and furniture around the halls and stairs were also delightful.

A shirt break to explore the nature preserve.
Pros:

Beautiful location, airy rooms with nice views, personable and attentive host. Lovely little village nearby with good bakeries.

Cons:

Hard to get to by public transit. The nearest bus stop is closed. Nearby amenities are limited, though there is one rather nice restaurant.

Stayed overnight in between Lahr and Aalen. Beautiful country location, huge room, great food
