Renovation work is done from January 6th to June 9. The restaurant and the bar are under renovation.
Children can be accommodated at a surcharge. Baby cots can be rented for EUR 10 per night. An extra bed can be added for EUR 25. These fees need to be paid at the accommodations during check in.

Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Het Witte Huis – Amersfoort
Upon check-in, I paid in cash and in full for a 5-night stay. After the first night, I was forced to make an unexpected change of plans due to a health-related issue. I requested the cancellation and refund of the remaining 3 unused nights, as the service had not yet been provided.
I communicated this request directly to the front desk staff and the hotel manager. In addition, I formally notified both the hotel and Booking.com via email. Despite these written and verbal communications, I was clearly informed that no refund would be issued for the unused nights.
Under European Union consumer protection principles, retaining full payment for services that have not been provided raises serious concerns regarding proportionality and fairness. Nevertheless, no reasonable solution or flexibility was offered.
As an alternative, I requested that the unused 3-night amount be issued as a voucher valid within the same hotel chain. This reasonable proposal was also refused without meaningful justification.
In conclusion, despite written correspondence and direct communication, no customer-oriented solution was provided. I find this approach legally questionable and professionally disappointing.
Schoon en nieuw
Ontbijt: veel op of niet meer voorradig. Werd beetje voor beetje aangevuld. Maar 1 medewerker voor klaarmaken/ bijvullen ontbijt en daarnaast ook nog schoonmaken.
Kamers wat gehorig
Ligging vlakbij Amersfoort, een erg leuke stad met een gezellig centrum en voldoende restaurantjes.
De kamer was groot en voorzien van fijne bedden
Het was niet super schoon, veel stof op de grond en aan het plafond.
No complaints. We were in a chalet opposite main hotel. Clean and a good size. Breakfast and restaurant good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Maravilhoso hotel, quarto amplo com camas e toalhas muito confortáveis - ficamos todos juntos em um quarto de família; estacionamento amplo e não cobrado à parte; tudo muito lindo, novo e limpo. Gostamos tanto que buscamos outro da mesma rede na próxima cidade.
Preço um pouco alto e não localizado próximo à cidade - estávamos de carro, então não foi um problema.
Locatie en de kamers zijn prachtig!
Personeel was grotendeels nieuw. Ze deden super hun best maar met name in het restaurant zorgde dit voor veel lange wachttijden en verkeerd of kort gebracht eten.
Beetje warm in de kamer
Locatie was prima, zat dicht bij de Dierentuin die wij gingen opzoeken. Restaurant was gezellig, het eten smaakte goed en het personeel was super vriendelijk.
De kamer(s) waren helaas niet schoon. Onze eerste kamer zat vol met vliegen en de vloer was vies. Netjes aangegeven bij de receptie en een andere kamer gekregen. Helaas was de 2de kamer ook niet schoon. Er lag heel veel stof en ander viezigheid op de vloer. Het zakje van de prullenbak in de badkamer was ook niet vervangen, daar lag nog flosdraad en ander afval in van de vorige bezoekers. Dit ook bij de receptie aangegeven. Receptie heeft ons vriendelijk te woord gestaan en excuses aangeboden voor de viezigheid. Graag hadden wij vanuit het Hotel een compensatie gehad maar er werd verder vanuit hun niks aangeboden. Ik ben er uit eindelijk zelf maar niet over begonnen. Wij zullen waarschijnlijk niet meer terug komen vanwege de slechte schoonmaak/hygiëne.
L’emplacement de l’hôtel
On ne faisait pas de ménage chaque jour malgré notre demande. ( peu de savon liquide )Il n’y a pas de frigo dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner trop cher 17,50 euros par personne.
