Eine wundervolle Unterkunft zum entspannen und genießen. Ca 2h vom Flughafen Colombo entfernt. Perfekt für den ersten oder letzten Stop.

Wir haben eine von der Unterkunft organisierte sunrise River Safari gemacht und es war unvorstellbar schön und interessant. Alles hat bestens funktioniert und wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. 100% Empfehlung!

Die gesamte Anlage ist gut gepflegt und der Pool bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den See. Es gibt auch einen Teich mit Koi-Karpfen und Schildkröten, die ich sogar füttern und halten durfte.

Das Highlight ist das sehr freundliche Personal. Man fühlt sich mit ihnen wie zuhause obwohl sie gleich auch diskret sind. Serviceorientiert. Sehr herzliche Menschen, besonderst Sajith. Dankeschön!

They had everything you needed, and if they didn’t they would get it for you. The rooms were spacious and so comfortable. The grounds were clean and relaxing

I had a beautiful stay in Kalapuwa Resort. The stuff and owner have been very friendly and always helpful. The owner organized an interesting boat tour and a day trip to Galle for me. I definitely enjoyed my stay in beautiful and calm nature landscape with a morning swim in the amazing pool. I also get an unexpected Upgrade of the room. I can definitively recommend this place. 🙏🙏

Beutiful place to stay for many reasons but mostly for the location by the river, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall vibe of the place.

It has a very good view with the lake. Also staff is very friendly.

Great pool. Beautiful kayaking spot (with free use of kayaks). Very good dinner.

The owner was so helpful, and he did his best to comfort us. Sightseeing is amazing, and you can see different birds, including eagles and hawks. The pool and the room was clean.

Lovely location, owner was so lovely and went above and beyond to make us comfortable - was really good about advising when there was a power cut and offering flexible options, even helped me get to an event in town when there were no other transport options! Food was also great, really nice rice and curry.

Thoughtful design, the cook whipped up an amazing Sri Lankan lunch on short notice. Support this locally owned, quiet corner by the water.

The house was in a beautiful spot overlooking the Madhu river/lake in a calm environment. Jeevan the host was totally hands on and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, we were there for 3 nights, and he was very knowledgeable about the wild life and birds. The food was amazing and plenty of it. Would thoroughly recommend Kalapuwa .

This place will always have a special place in our family’s hearts, it’s a hidden spot that gave is the best time in Sri Lanka! The host Jeevan was extremely kind and generous that he never hesitated to help and get out of his way to make us feel home! He took us to explore great places in his area on his tuktuk and the kids just loved his place ! We couldn’t get over the breathtaking views starting from early morning till evening, It’s filled with great energy, thank you for making our trip unforgettable!
