Pro Person eine kleine Portion Butter 2 Brötchen Honig und Marmelade dazu Kaffe. Kein Saft Käse oder Joghurt nichts sonst.
Top quality ingredients used in food, restaurant superb run by a real chef. Breakfast expensive and quite simple but good quality. Owner was a real character, staff lovely. Wine well chosen and good value.
The WiFi didn't work, the room was very basic for the price with no kettle or coffee though the owner did provide a bottle of mineral water on request. The bus back from town only runs on Fridays.
I didn't have breakfast there.
location was a bit in convenient .
A lovely old building , beautiful courtyard .
Rented 2 rooms. The single was modern, clean and spacious. The double was in the main building.
The double room was very dated and the shower room was small and very old. The double 4 poster bed had a mirror on its ceiling which was unsuitable for the 2 siblings that were put there but it was clean.
The room in a rather beautiful house was perfectly clean, as was the bath and the towels.
Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to eat in the hotel, but, I had the expression of an extraordinary kitchen and a devotion to fresh and "slow" food.
The bed was comfortable and in general room and bed had the charm of an old farm house style.
I would not say that we had the nicest welcome I have ever experienced, but, it had a certain charm. Me and my wife arriving in training clothes (we had been there to attend a sport seminar) and grumpy, might also not have given the most decent expression though.
Inside of the room you could hear the neighbours and the people outside speak, but, that is expected when you rent in an old house; just be aware of it.
A wonderful traditional inn, in a very old house but very comfortable and just what I expect to find the countryside. It's been in the family for over a century and in business for several centuries but all of that unfortunately will cease this coming year as it has been sold. What a loss for the community.
There's nothing to really dislike here as long as you're in tune with country inns and the variability of the rooms. I had a lovely front bedroom, nice pine furniture, a perfectly acceptable nice hot shower and bath. Nothing to complain about for the price especially . The owner and The innkeeper also run a great restaurant downstairs with a fusion kitchen. There is interestingly enough a Asian side to the kitchen that produces really nice looking food and a very traditional German side that produces above average German dishes all served up in a very traditional countryside atmosphere. It's a very local place and it's going to be a loss for the community when it closes
Friendly owner and a hotel with a homely feel to it. Nice menu and food was very good. Beer also excellent.
Odd that you couldn't pay by card- cash only. Room was also a bit too spartan- would have expected shower gel at least.
