Meifod House was the best hotel I've stayed at in ages: comfortable, quiet, charming and welcoming.
Pros:

The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and very reasonable priced. The staff were wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable. I the property was very charming.

Cons:

Dragging bags up stairs was a bit difficult.

Lovely hotel but no shower
Pros:

Beautiful hotel breakfast and staff were amazing cleanliness was very good .

Cons:

Only thing that made it very disappointing was there was no shower only one on the tap but we had no curtain very disappointing . We wouldn’t have been able to get out the bath if we had had one . That’s the only thing that has put us off going back .

We loved Meifod house, so cozy and amazingly furnished through out.
Pros:

Beautifully decorated with lots of effort put in with small details such as candles lit around various rooms making it unbelievably cozy in the evening/night time.
The staff were also very friendly and their breakfast in the morning was brilliant with good quality ingredients.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Perfect in every way
Pros:

Charming, peaceful and grand property! Beautiful room with an amazing, comfy bed. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was incredible and there was a huge selection.
