Beautiful grand hotel within walking distance of picturesque old port area
Pros:

A lovely grand traditional hotel.
Located close to the beach.
Excellent breakfast served in their beautiful restaurant by staff formally attired in black and white.
Sitting areas near the restaurant and on the outside terrace were lovely in the morning sun.
Large well maintained swimming pool with sun loungers though we didn't use it!
Free on-site parking.
Cesenatico has a picturesque old port area with an impressive modern maritime museum.
Staying at the Grand Hotel during the summer season must be like going back to a period when people seemed to have more time to relax and enjoy hotel life.

Cons:

Old town approximately 1 Km away but an easy walk.
In the last week in September we were too late in the season to see the resort at its best
