Very good location and people
Given the structure is in wood it was very noise with all the cars and bikes going up and down. On the positive side you get earplugs in the reception which does help a bit

One room not made of thik walls so 2 persons had vety much vold during the night

- Insane constant noise from the road
- Even more insane proximity to the mosque, the loudspeaker is only a few meters from the rooms with nonexistent isolation
- Food is average at best
- Place is pretty far from Bromo, location is among the worst you could possibly find in the area
The location and the food
There was a rouch in the bedroom and I could hear the neighbors yelling and snoring.
Staffs are super nice
The architectural of joglo is unique and very traditional. We loved the ambience around the hotel, every area especially the verandah of our room facing the mountain. Meals served were good, the hotel staffs were accommodating too. We will definitely return again!
During daytime can be quite warm in room so a fan would be great for those whol would like to stay indoor & for good ventilation
Breakfast was freshly prepared and we were allowed to eat in our room. And sent directly by the staff.
The surrounding sound being the hotel is quite near to the main road. Less noise after 10pm. But need to wake up at 2am to catch the jeep to see sunrise.
Convenient location for Bromo. Just 1/2 hour away from Lava view point.
Other options closer much more expensive.

Location set amongst the mountains, forest on the back balcony, 2 balconies, delicious food, beautiful rooms

The ambience
Early closure of restaurant
Nice clean room with the view, food was tasty.
Staff didn't speak english very well and was unable to get us simple transfer (without jeep tour, which they offer) to mt. Bromo. Only cash payment. At night it got very cold (note that we are from eastern Europe, so we know cold weather). “Bonus” was the speaker nearby, which went on at 4-5 a.m. playing muslim prayers. Hotel is also located near main road, so there was a lot of noise at night/early morning (mostly from jeep tours).
Good. It served the purpose. Nothing spectacular but quite tasty.
Perhaps cover some of the dishes (it was a buffet) so insects don't land on them.
Location for trip to Bromo which was arranged by hotel was fantastic. We arrived early to the hotel and were offered breakfast and early check in.
The staff were amazing especially the manager who helped us when our taxi didn’t arrive and gave us complimentary drinks and food .

A good looking hotel although rooms still quite basic inside.
Great restaurant and helpful staff. Probably one of the better mid range options you’ll find in this area.
Nearby mosque call to prayer was even louder and less tuneful than the last 10 we’ve woken to at 4am. Road noise is pretty constant.
