The grounds are beautiful and very central. The breakfast is definitely the best buffet breakfast I have had

The spa needs a deep clean. We had to leave the pool area due to the amount of mould around the edge which actually ended up on my partners face when he was under the water. The relaxation room with the hot bed also has a lot of mould on the ceiling. The spa could be doing with a total clean and revamp

Our stay was the best we have had, We will be back for another special occasion soon with friends.

Our room was beautiful and the view was amazing...Breakfast my husband enjoyed and our dinner was amazing...the quality of the meat and vegetables very fresh and cooked to perfection. The server at breakfast went to the kitchen and came back with gluten free sausages for me which made me feel very happy that he went out of his way to please me.

Cons:

Sorry to say on menu there was a dessert that was detailed as being gluten free. On speaking with the lady she said it was but on further questions she then said she was unsure and went to check. She came back to say that it was not gluten free. As having coeliac disease this should be removed from your menu so that people like me are not at risk.

I enjoyed my visit but the last evening meal took the shine off my visit.
Pros:

Room was fine, corridor to room 308 was poor compared to rest of hotel.
Breakfast was lovely.
Dinner in bar. First night was delicious.
I loved the size of the property giving the loan traveller lots of spaces to sit without feeling awkward by being on your own.
Staff were lovely.

Cons:

Dinner in bar second night I didn’t enjoy at all. I had Sicilian salad which was basically a large bowl of lettuce with cubes of red pepper, cucumber and red onion with a few olives and no dressing whatsoever. It was totally tasteless and definitely not good value.
