Prachtige omgeving, leuke uitstapjes en bezienswaardigheden.

Mooi zwembad. Vriendelijke personeel in bedien restauranten.

Cons:

Ik had tijdens mijn reservering gevraagd voor een kamer dichtbij de lift in verband mijn mobiliteit maar kreeg een kamer aan de uiterste einde van een gang, ver van de lift, bereikbaar met extra trappen en zelfs een trap in de kamer naar de badkamer. Dus niet voldaan aan mijn expliciete wens. Toen ik bij receptie daar iets over zei werd er schouderophalend op gereageerd.

Pros:

El palacio es precioso y con unos jardines deliciosos, es muy facil llegar, las instalaciones fantasticas incluyendo la piscina y el jacuzzi. La habitacion para 4 amplia y muy comoda incluye ademas de la nevera un microondas. El personal muy amable y atento.En general muy aconsejable

Solo por poner una pega, se agradeceria ampliasen el horario del desayuno a las 11h

Great hotel, would thoroughly recommend
Pros:

Lovely food, both evening meals and breakfast were great. Enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the Stags Head bar. Staff were friendly and attentive

A palace set back in time, old charm with comfortable beds and hot pressured showers.
Pros:

The Palace feels like stepping back into a time of it's building. Whilst it has some old carpet and old feeling to some areas I believe it adds to the charm. It felt amazing to see and feel a property of its kind. The view and peaceful setting of the hotel felt nice and relaxing. It is not super modern but the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower hot and great pressure. I had a fantastic night sleep and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere with its old historic charm.

Cons:

I liked everything the property offered. Great welcoming staff and the charm of an old style historic building.

Absolutely fabulous stay
Pros:

An amazing hotel with so much history. Feels like a step back in time to personal service/ high quality and a slower pace of life. One night here is definitely not enough.

Not the luxury stay we were hoping for.

Lovely location
Breakfast was fresh and tasty

Cons:

Property looked tired, could see areas in need of repair. Room was very small, could hear conversations in neighbouring rooms. Room very hot despite turning off radiator.Unable to keep window open so had to jam open with the chair. Bag of rubbish left in room from previous occupant. Overall quite disappointed.

Pros:

Drive up to the hotel blew my mind! Reception area was comfortable and welcoming. Our room was slightly inder whelming, however once I discussed this with reception we were put in a different room

Location, grounds, good parking.

Cons:

Room was small and difficult to find. No lift only small fire exit stair case for room axis to room. WiFi in room did not work (IP configuration issue but WiFi did work in other areas of the hotel). Shower bathroom small and with step up into the bathroom, not clearly visable at night. Food very average. Maid staff very helpful but others not so much. Poor value for money but typical of most Scottish hotels playing on location, historical looks and worn out charm. Really no comparison vs hotels like Stanley House for value for money, facilitaries offered and atmosphere. Will not be back and will not be recommending this hotel.
