The grounds of the hotel are just beautiful and the views are amazing. The location is brilliant for exploring Pitlochry and beyond. Breakfast was nice. The room was clean and comfy, and very warm.
I mentioned that the shower in my room was inadequate, just no power to have a proper shower. The staff member said they would get maintenance to check but I never saw them or got any follow up message that it had been checked. It remained bad for my visit. So disappointing that this level of service was not up to expectation.
Comfortable room, good filling breakfast, interesting dinners (in bar).
I could not adjust the readiator. It was slightly chilly one night.
We stayed in the tower room (two floors), which had a wonderful view and decoration.
Bathroom had an awful smell, when we called reception to help us with our luggage (narrow steep stairs to our tower room) no one showed up to help us. When we were paying the bill, they gave us a wrong bill by mistake.
It was very charming.
Nothing.
Breakfast was great, with a spectacular view. Lounge area in evening is very nice with warm fires and special vibe. Staff was great and coctails at bar were grear. Spa and room were ok.
Fantastisk miljö och lika så omgivning!
Lite jobbig uppförsbacke upp till hotellet efter en kväll på byn 😉
The surrounding area and grounds.
The cost v what the hotel offers. The spa looks nothing like the photographs. There were only four loungers and they were blue plastic-not like the wicker type on the photos. We couldn't get a lounger as they were all taken so had to sit in plastic upright seats.
A beautiful stay at Atholl Palace. We did find the hotel itself is in need of a little lift. Draft under some windows, creaking floors, but it is beautiful all the same. The breakfast was okay, nothing special and for the price we paid B&B @ €270 (£245), we did expect more. Our room was lovely, bathroom was modern, bed very comfy, tea/coffee & treats were a lovely touch -note walls are paper thin.
Breakfast could be better
Windows need to be sealed - felt a draft
Size and quality of room for the money
Shower leaked over the bathroom floor
