Stayed 1 night for Great Yorkshire Show.
Grounds lovely and good location
Bar area nice and average hotel prices
Shame the room wasn’t up to the same Standard.
The bathroom in particular needs a full refurb.
Floor marked, bath seal very grubby.
Seal on shower screen black from either dirt or mould
Bottom of bath panel grubby and coming away
Dust hanging from the bottom of the heater in room
Window seals black in corners
One of bedside lights not working
No coffee in room and no phone so a trip to reception to get some
Speaking honestly I have stayed in many low budget hotel with better standard room
Nobody on reception at check out to point all these things to . Waited 3-4 minutes but nobody in sight
We had a delightful stay for two nights at the Cedar Court in Harrogate, celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary by visiting the Great Yorkshire Show and enjoying a breakfast in the hotel sharing many happy memories of our wedding day in Winchester with the friend who was our best-man 50 years ago.
Good location, lovely hotel, quiet room, good size of room
The charge for car parking when staying at the hotel.
Large hotel in very good location.
Friendly staff.
The hotel has a carpark on site, but this costs extra, despite the room being expensive.
Had a room on the top floor facing the afternoon sun. It was extremely hot, and a portable fan didn’t make much difference, so not easy to sleep.
With the blind down there is little ventilation even with the window open.
location and parking
Hotel in an excellent location for the Yorkshire show and Harrogate town centre. We were able to walk to both.
Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Deluxe room lovely and premises very clean through out.
Nice room, comfortable bed. Location easy to walk to town centre. Breakfast good.
Hotels adding parking charges as easy money.
Paying for car park
Room very pleasant, bed very small but comfortable
No air conditioning in room with very small double bed. Loathed the reception-partially automated partially human . Bar and restaurant understaffed on a known capacity week.
the location; great view , great facility
the room is too hot, not worth for the upgrade
the upgrade charges are way too expensive
the food is over price compared with the test
A lovely grand hotel with great plaster ceilings and lots of room downstairs. A good breakfast in comfort. Very helpful staff.
Full credit for trying the Yorkshire tapas it was good especially due to the efforts of Ben. The singer was very good.
Parking charges were in the smaller print and a constant concern in the GYS. No air conditioning upstairs and windows that only open a little made the room unbearably too hot to sleep. No instructions on how to turn a hot towel rail off. The restaurant menu didn't do much simple food.
I hosted an event here the hotel staff can’t do enough for you.
The stairwell needs a clean and the WiFi is not great
Very elegant, spotlessly clean
Nothing
