Beautiful old building, very grand,
Some work was being carried out in the corridor outside our room, however they kept to strict work times and kept the noise to the minimum.
Our room was lovely, spacious and comfy.
Staff were pleasant and happy to help.
Heater in our room., 104, made a tapping noise on and off.
Had we been there more than one night , it would have been necessary for it to have been fixed or move us to another room.. we had to switch it off in the end. Reported it to receptionist when we checked out.
Very nice
Nothing
Breakfast was excellent.
Lots if fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, full English
Found the shower water temperature tricky to use
Pleasant restaurant
Constant music. No quiet place. Room was only serviced twice in a week. Bins not emptied. Beds not made. Parking charges. Expensive breakfast.
Nice location, the restaurant is very beautiful
The renovation was ongoing in the building. I was woken up by drilling next to my room
Lots of choice , helpful friendly staff
Cooked breakfast was not piping hot
The staff are very friendly and helpful really pleased with the hotel
Close to town centre
Two of the lights in the room were not working and the radiator was not working either.
Clean, comfortable room; excellent communal facilities; enjoyable breakfast; highlight was the friendliness and professionalism of support.
A long check-in and check-out; one room was not as booked (double rather than twin) but quickly changed.
