Pros:

Some of the most friendly staff at any location I've stayed at.

Cons:

We had the Queenie Suite, the only downfall would be rain is loud in the seating area which had me awake at 3am. I am a very light sleeper my wife didnt flinch.

Pros:

We have been here several times with various pooches and have always had a great stay, Sarah and Nigel are great hosts and the staff are always very friendly and helpful, special mention this time to Caroline and Ellie for being so helpful and friendly.
The food is always very nice and well presented and the rooms are very nice and always clean and this time we also had great weather so we used the swimming pool.
We will definitely be back for another visit sometime this year.with Gemma.

5 stars all round.

It was a bit quieter than previous visits but definitely not a negative.

We were very happy with our stay at the Poacher's Inn and would stay again.
Pros:

The room was large and airy with ample storage and a comfortable bed. The staff went over the top to make us feel welcome and both the breakfast and evening meal were excellent.

Cons:

There was a green security light on the ceiling which was very bright and couldn't be turned off. We only stayed fir two nights but were disappointed that the room was not serviced.

Very friendly staff. They work very hard addressing everyone's requests and needs. Breakfast was straightforward and nicely-cooked. Pleasant bar and lounge areas. Useful to have evening meals available as the location is very rural. Pleasant room - all you need. Thank you for letting us bring our cat! 😻

Cons:

A another member of staff would be useful at busier times. No reception for BBC1 or BBC2 - we are Masterchef addicts! But there is always iPlayer, of course.

Cons:

Some aspects of the room appeared tired - doors don’t quite shut properly. It was also very warm and there was little airflow possible. Dinner was okay, steaks tough and poorly cooked
