Great little place to stay - off the beaten track!
Pros:

I loved the food. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were amazingly helpful. I enjoyed using the pool and was pleased that the owner and management team were supportive throughout the booking and visiting process.

Cons:

There was really nothing that I didnt like - I felt well looked after!

A B&B that will be recommended to friends and family and review readers!
Pros:

Everything! A warm welcome by friendly, happy and helpful staff. Clean and well thought out rooms. Comfortable beds that ensured a good nights sleep. Well cooked and well presented breakfast. Large car park for easy parking. A beautiful garden area.

Nice place to stay, friendly and comfortable
Pros:

Interesting location, you can walk along the track at the back. It’s a nice area. Our room was one of a row by the swimming pool and it was comfortable and convenient.

Pros:

Lovely people, very friendly. The room was lovely and bed was very comfortable and clean. Food was great, would recommend as a real hidden gem

Beautiful Location with helpful and friendly staff.

Landlord was extremely accommodating in keeping our motorbikes safe. Room was well appointed. staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall enjoyed our stay at the Poachers Inn.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Evening meal excellent. Good full English breakfast. Lovely setting around a pool.

Cons:

No decaf tea available. Breakfast cereal /fruit juice limited choice. Oversized large heavy keyring for room key.

An okay stay for a couple of nights, in need of renovation and redecoration to spruce it up.
Pros:

The staff were lovely, the 2 young bartenders/front of house staff were lovely ladies who made you feel very welcome and were happy to have a nice conversation with you. Honestly these 2 lovely ladies really made up for the rest of the stay!
The breakfast was good, cooked well and tasted nice.
The room was quite spacious and clean, very easy to access and the pool was lovely.

Cons:

The breakfast could have had more selection, it was either a full english, eggs on toast or 1 choice of cereal. The orange juice served at breakfast was very cheap and not nice at all.
The room was outdated in decor and in facilities. For example, there was no fridge to store any drinks/snacks etc and there was only one tiny fan so in the summer heat it was incredibly difficult to cool down.
The shower was very small and not much room to move, the blinds in the bathroom were extremely difficult to open and close.
In the restaurant and pub area, there was a lot of mould visible on the windowsills, not exactly safe or comfortable to sit near.
The rooms did smell of damp.
Information online noted a different price for pets to stay overnight, there was a £15 pet night charge for a pet to stay.

Cons:

On booked stated 'fanulous breajfast" Breakfast was dreadful, very little choice, 3 basic cereals and cooked sausage bacon, egg, tomato,beans and fried bread or choice of eggs on toast. No fruit, no yoghurt, or pastries on offer only 3 basic cereals and really cheap bitter orange juice. Having ordered poached eggs on white toast and full English we were poached served eggs on brown bread and 2 sausages and 2 eggs pertaining to be a full english . Had to retirn and was given a pile of mush on toast and the missing items on the full English appeared still minus fried bread and swimming in oil, .waitress was lovely and brought out fresh poached eggs but the whites wernt cooked. Order had been written down on arrival and there were very few people at breakfast so why the wrong orders

Room was tired and a bit tatty. Located downstairs had to keep blinds closed as people sitting at tables directly outside window. Room had a sitting area but you could not see to watch tv in this area you could only see tv lying in bed. Room had no desk or dressing table which is needed if you have to work or like to dry your hair in front if a mirtor had to stand yo dry hair in front of mirtor located high up on the wall . No USB charging sockets.

Good stay, tiny room
Pros:

The location, the staff, the food! Also nice and welcoming for the dog with good safe walks very close.
Dog got a sausage for breakfast.

Cons:

My only quibble is that the room was very small, only just enough room for me to sidle past the end to get out. There were a few broken things in the bathroom and the shower was so small that my husband couldn't actually use it. It didn't match the photos!
