Pros:

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit wunderschönem Garten. Es ist ruhig und die Laufenten des benachbarten Bauernhofes haben es meinen Kindern angetan.
Das Personal war freundlich und das typisch englische Frühstück schmackhaft.
Das Zimmer war groß und sauber.

Cons:

Der Fußboden knarzte und wir hatten deswegen ständig das Gefühl zu laut zu sein. Dies ist aber meckern auf hohem Niveau und der Fußboden trägt letztendlich nur zur Authentizität des Gebäudes bei.

Perfect for our short stay. Had everything we needed
Pros:

The room was perfect for our stay. We chose a twin bed as I was sharing it with my mum. Good space, as we were just sleeping in there, so we didn't need a lot. The staff were lovely and even helped us with our bags. The room was quiet, and I thought the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Be warned that it's an old building, and this is reflected in the low ceilings and beams. The staff warned us as they took us to our room. If you are over 5'8" and think you may forget to duck, then you may need to ask for a room that doesn't have such low ceilings or beams (if they have one of course).

Fabulous place, loved it!
Pros:

Lovely hotel, very comfortable with friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful room, good breakfast and great to see the work they were doing with the gardens.

Enjoyed by the whole family
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay, our girls were thrilled with the 'secret' garden. We were made to feel very welcome, breakfast was great and would recommend to anyone. There are low roofs and uneven floors but for me this added to the charm. A superb night's stay enjoyed by all 4 of us.

Cons:

Dvd player in the back of the tv didn't work but it could be we failed to use it properly. I was too embarrassed to ask.

A lovely place, really good value. Would definitely recommend!
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Staff really nice and friendly. Location beautiful, with a lovely garden full of flowers. Toiletries were very nice in bathroom. Very quiet area, so nice to sleep there. We also like that they are supporting people with learning difficulties to work/train there.

Cons:

Bathroom/toilet was tight. Sink plug didn’t work, so unable to have a wash in it. One bed was really creaky.

Wunderbares Frühstück, man konnte selber zwischen gewissen Sachen auswählen. Das full cooked breakfast war super.

Das Personal war stets freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
