Schönes Zimmer an bester Lage.

Super zentrales Hotel, aber ohne Klimaanlage
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist super zentral gelegen, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Neckar und die Alte Brücke war zum Greifen nahe.

Cons:

Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist etwas herausfordernd. Man kann nur kurz zum Ausladen auf der Straße stehen bleiben und muss dann in ein Parkhaus weiter (dort bekommt man ein ermäßigtes Ticket).

Etwas Pech hatten wir, weil wir gerade in Heidelberg waren als es 41°C hatte und das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hat. Zwar war uns bekannt, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt, aber mit so enormen Temperaturen hatten wir bei der Buchung im Februar nicht gerechnet. Trotz der 2 Ventilatoren fühlte es sich an wie in einem Backofen.

Das Hotel ist ein traditionelles altes Haus, aber keine Klimaanlage bei 35 Grad
Pros:

Wir waren im Zentrum von Heidelberg, super schöne Lage, viele Cafés und Restaurants und noch direkt neben dem Neckar. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsreich und nett. Das Hotel ist ein traditionelles altes Haus, aber keine Klimaanlage bei 35 Grad, keine richtig dunklen Gardinen oder Rollos am Fenster und Balkontür. Die Hitze im Zimmer war unerträglich. Das Personal kann nichts dafür. Als Entschädigung für diese Unannehmlichkeiten haben wir an einem der vier Tage ein kostenloses Frühstück erhalten. Da Heidelberg in einem Tal liegt, ist es im Sommer sehr heiß. Das ist eine Tatsache. Mit einfachen Mitteln könnte man die Zimmer jedoch besser verdunkeln und sie auch ohne Klimaanlage deutlich angenehmer und bewohnbar machen. Im nächsten Jahr wird das Haus renoviert wurde uns mitgeteilt. Der Goldener Hecht ist Teil von Coffee Fellows, einer deutschen Kaffeehauskette und Hotelbetreiberin. Da wir Kollegen getroffen haben, hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit. Noch etwas Wichtiges: Die Matratze ist ausgezeichnet, aber die Kissen sind es nicht. Die Dusche ist gut, aber man muss erst etwa fünf Minuten lang das kochend heiße Wasser laufen lassen (Boiler auf dem Dach), bevor sich die Temperatur vernünftig einstellen lässt. Unser Zimmer wurde während der vier Tage nicht gereinigt, ebenso wenig das Zimmer unserer Freunde nebenan. Das Zimmer ist zwar sehr ruhig, liegt aber im Dachgeschoss.

Pros:

ハイデルベルグ旧市街にあり、主な観光ポイントに歩いて行ける。

Cons:

古い建物なのでエレベーター、エアコンが無かった。窓に遮光カーテンがあるといい。
ホテルのスタッフの接客はよかったが、近くのカフェで朝食をとることを勧められた。行ってみるとそこでの対応がよくなかったので、他のカフェで朝食をすませた。

Ein schöner Aufenthalt; durch die zentrale Lage war, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen!

Das erste Zimmer war wirklich gewöhnungsbedürftig… Hätte ich vielleicht als Einzelzimmer für 70 € genommen?
Wurde aber direkt am nächsten Tag für ein hübsches, annehmbares Zimmer getauscht!
Es gab nicht wirklich eine gute Haltemöglichkeit um das Gepäck auszuladen… 😳
Wir durften dann kurz die gute Haltemöglichkeit des benachbarten Hotels benutzen…

Did not need this hassle after 8 hour drive

Life would have been much easier if staff had said “we are tucked into a corner next to the Hollander Hof Hotel, which is clear from the photo

Cons:

Phoned from car to indicate that we would be delayed, but would arrive before 9 pm advertised closing time for reception. Advised that reception now closes at 8 pm. We arrived at 7:50 and staff had left. Man in cafe next door helped with access but we picked up keys for room 32, not 22 as previously suggested. Turns out pigeon holes were for room underneath. Very embarrassing for incumbents of room 32, and us! Eventually sorted room 22 after 45 minutes. Reception area was in darkness, being unlit. I will include photos of entrance. I defy anyone to access this easily

Awesome location. Our room looked out to the Old Bridge towers. All of restaurants, backerei, and cafes we could want were minutes away.
One of our favorite places to stay on this trip.

Cons:

Access was challenging. Parking was 10 minutes away, and €15/day with pass from hotel. Get VERY clear instructions before driving up to hotel to unload luggage. No unload zone and all narrow one-way streets.
Note that hotel entrance is in the corner, to the right of Coffee Brothers. Barely labeled

Ein nettes kleines Hotel in allerbeste Lage.
Das kleine Einzelzimmer hatte alles, was man braucht. Der junge Mann an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und mit allem behilflich. Frühstück einfach aber gut.
