Perfect place to lay our heads the night before attending a wedding just up the road.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked to order as well as cereal, yogurts, toast and tea/coffee/juice to help yourself too. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Very helpful and able to provide an iron when we requested.

Cons:

Faint smell of stale smoke in the room, suspect it might have seeped in from outside or elsewhere in the building rather than people were smoking in the room. Didn't affect the stay and I do have a very keen sense of smell.

Everything. People vaping in the bar area on our arrival. We did not even bother to check in. A waste of money. It is a run-down pub. Not a Hotel as advertised. We do not understand all the seemingly superb reviews. Where do they come from?

Pros:

Das Haus macht im ersten Moment einen sehr einfachen Eindruck. Auch dass das Badezimmer auf dem Gang ist, ist ja erst Mal recht schlicht. Aber der Wirt (nicht von den Tatoos abschrecken lassen :-)) macht einen hervorragenden Job - alles ist sehr sauber und in dem netten Frühstücksraum, den man wir auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeit nutzen durften, gab es ein sehr liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück mit allem drum und dran! Dafür ein Riesenkompliment an den Wirt (über das er sich gefreut hat). Wie so oft ist es das Engagement des Personals, das den Unterschied macht.

Really kind host, nothing was too much trouble, even obliged with an early breakfast to enable us to make our ferry check-in on time, went above and beyond to help us achieve this.

Lovely hotel.
Pros:

The owners were lovely . I was able to take my dog which was a big comfort for an anxiety sufferer. The bed was amazing and I had a wonderful sleep.i would definitely recommend to anyone x

Cons:

I couldnt work out the showered temp. It was either cold or boiling hot . No other issues . I had a lovely time.

A very enjoyable stay. Incredible value for money.
Pros:

Breakfasts were better than almost all of the many hotels that we have ever visited. Plenty of choice, Porrige, cereals, Scottish breakfast, French toast,, fab coffee, rasberries strawberries and melon
