The hotel room was very good and clean.
The water pressure in the shower was low. The internet was available but did not work properly. There was construction next door, so it was noisy.
It honestly felt like heaven on earth. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking surroundings, and cozy charm. The cottage itself was beautifully maintained—clean, comfortable.

Das Hotel hat definitiv die besten Zeiten hinter sich, was man an vielen Ecken innerhalb und außerhalb der Zimmer sieht. Kein nettes Ambiente im Hotel. Aus diesem Grund gibt es aktuell einige Baustellen im Hotel. Im großen Bankettsaal nebenan gab es an dem Abend eine Feier. Nachts sind lautstark Kinder, länger als 45 Minuten, über den Flur gerannt, was vom Hotelpersonal niemanden so wirklich interessiert hat.
Der Preis ist insgesamt im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels nicht gerechtfertigt.

Localisation
Very old hotel, very neglected and in general everything very old
Great hotel in Kurunegala. Good rooms and comfortable
Very little to like.
The property was tired and very dirty.
Wall paper was mouldy / peeling off and there was thick dirt / dust on the sockets.
We were out the back of the property and the pictures are very misleading as they either show the Blue Sky Grand or the pictures are old and the rooms haven’t been cleaned since. My wife is convinced we were in the drivers rooms.
There was no hot water, until we mentioned it and someone came to turn it on.
There was no one on reception through the night and we had to go at 3.15am and knock another guests door to ask them to be quiet. Something you shouldn’t have to do!
The windows didn’t close properly, so lots of noise from outside and the kitchen started clattering and banging at about 7am. We got no sleep at all.
We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
