Tsukitei was a little bit of paradise south of Mt. Aso, nestled in a charming forest far enough away from the main road.
Pros:

The property is a beautiful lodge-style building in a lovely location looking right at Mt. Aso. The rooms and common areas are comfortable enough, but there are plenty of small nooks, corners, and rooms to find even more privacy and comfort. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The road to the property is a tight squeeze through some beautiful woods, and the markers leading to the property were very helpful.

Cons:

This is a major complaint, but it is not the owner’s fault at all. On the second night of my stay, there was a party of guests who were boisterous and disruptive until after midnight. In addition, they left a mess throughout the kitchen and dining area downstairs. A lot of appliances and implements that are shared among the guests were misplaced or dirty. Again, this is not the owner’s fault, so it won’t affect my score or review of the property. However, may I suggest a clear explanation of rules and expectations to the guests (in multiple languages) so that there is no misunderstanding about how guests are supposed to act in a property like Tsukitei.

綺麗で行き届いた宿
Pros:

部屋が広く綺麗　室内のお風呂も比較的大きく綺麗

Cons:

2F共用部で仕事を数時間（19時過ぎ〜0時過ぎ）ずっとしている人がいて、気を使って他の人が誰も使えない状況があった　仕事や携帯通話は部屋でお願いするなど注意喚起が必要

Very nice
Pros:

While the place was overall very good and i was completely satisfied, it looked nothing but the pictures (looked better and bigger). Owner should update the pictures. The kitchen is a little bit under equipped. Hot tub is amazing.

Cons:

The location was not the best, completely dark at night and driving is on a very narrow road in the woods.

Cons:

二樓住宿區中的休息區是允許吸煙區，導致有人吸煙瀰漫整個房間，建議吸煙的人去三樓或樓頂 屋外。

Pros:

部屋が良いし、リビングルームには冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、ポット、食器などあり、ここで温かい食事も出来るから便利です。

Pros:

たまたま私たちだけだったのでゆっくりさせていただきました。まだ新しい棟もあったので山を切り開き月亭を作り、薪を割っていたりと、管理者様の温もりや精神が伝わりました。

Cons:

食器洗うスポンジの共有はなるべくしたくないなと思いました。
