Lovely stay in Belstone
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at the Tors. Staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. My room was nice with a very comfortable bed and I liked the pub being just downstairs. I'm not sure, but if the weather had been better I think I may have had views of Dartmor. It was misty however, so I'm not sure.

Cons:

What's not to like? Everything was perfect!

A charming village that is worth visiting
Pros:

The village of Belstone is delightful and I instantly felt relaxed. Locals were friendly especially the ponies who roamed freely as they grazed. The church appears to be at the heart of the village as well as The Tors

Cons:

Nothing

Pros:

Great location for walking. Staff were very friendly and made great efforts to look after residents, over the casual walkers. Food very hearty and great quality pub food. Bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Parking very poor. Village had very little in it so limited to just the pub, which was heaving with day walkers. Room was very basic

Cosy and welcoming, with excellent food
Pros:

My son and I stayed in this cosy pub when doing a navigation course with Discover Dartmoor. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room clean and well stocked (I loved the cafetiere coffee!). Breakfast was very good - everything we wanted before a day out on the moors! The bar food was excellent and the beer well kept! Thank you.

Excellent way to enjoy the quaint countryside and cosy Inn.
Pros:

The quaint town and position was so perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet countryside and time to relax and compliments to chef of exceptional food at the Inn.

Cons:

The only negative was the creaky floorboards.

A lovely old inn with great food and drink in an ideal location for walking the moors.
Pros:

Good breakfast, loved the bread. Tasty and substantial.
Friendly Inn with excellent food, pies especially. Really like the ambiance in the pub. Room is what you would expect in a very old building and we’ve been before and have returned which speaks for itself. Good choice of refreshments in the room including fresh coffee

Cons:

Could have a bin in the toilet please?
Be nice to have 2 chairs in the room if possible
