Nothing
Friendly staff, lovely room, comfy bed, quiet location and great food in the brasserie.
Really nice staff and grounds
perfect and beautiful location, rooms are luxerous, breakfast amazing. This is what you expect from a location like this. Try out the restaurant as well, excellent food.
nothing!
Beautifully designed hotel. Excellent staff interaction and service. Excellent food.
Proximity to motorway
Waiting staff were a bit inexperienced
A wonderful stay over Christmas ...... staff and food excellent. Warm, cosy and attentive service. Our room was perfect and cleaned to the highest standard. Afternoon tea on 24 December and Christmas Day lunch on 25 December excellent.
We joined the New Years Eve Dinner Night in the beautiful Brasserie which was a fantastic experience filled with delicious food, excellent service and as a big surprise, the diner was accompanied with a singing pianist who created the perfect atmosphere.
The food and the atmosphere on its own was already a reason to come back but the addition of having such great live music makes us even more to come back! We really loved it, she was so talented and nice.
Price value ratio was really fair (140 pp) for what you get on a New Year’s Eve event.
-5 course menu with delicious, local food (portions are also fair, I am a good eater but it was enough!)
-Champagne Entré
-High class entertainment = Singing Pianist
-Luxurious bath gift set
In all transparency we were a bit in doubt as especially New Year’s Eve events are mostly overrated but the Brasserie from Wentbridge house Hotel did a great job and we consider to come back next year again!
We chose the fireside package and enjoyed the dinner and breakfast over 2 days. Superb steak and lamb options. Breakfast offered freshly prepared in house croissants, with a range of continental and Full English dishes. Comfortable room and attentive staff
Everything.
Nothing.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our Winter Fireside Retreat at Wentbridge House Hotel.
On arrival, the receptionist offered us our room key along with homemade mince pies. The offer included a complimentary upgrade to Room 77 in the annex. The room was beautiful and overlooked the grounds and river beyond. There was a half bottle of champagne on ice along with a birthday card and homemade truffles.
The cocktails and evening meal were delicious.
Breakfast was a little disappointing, as the bacon was very crisp and the poached eggs were underdone, but this did not overshadow the wonderful stay we had had.
Throughout our stay, the staff customer service was excellent.
3rd year of staying for our festive family break and all thoroughly enjoyed it again.
Food as good as ever, rooms spacious & comfortable, service from all staff giving up their own family time was second to none. Thanks all & no doubt we’ll see you next year.
We go to the brasserie with family quite often it’s normally very good but on this occasion there were one or two things that need pointing out the drinks menu with food smears on it and the cheeseboard served up on a dinner plate it should be a board and when I visited the mens room one of the members of staff used the toilet and left with out washing his hands (disgusting) otherwise we had an enjoyable time
Everything - location, comfort, log fires!!
