Beautiful setting, well laid out and decorated with taste and elegance - special getaway and treat
The location and setting are perfect as are the cosy, comfortable rooms and lovely decor.
The breakfast, served in the brasserie, was absolutely delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay could not fault anything
This was our place of choice to celebrate my husband's eightieth birthday. The hotel is close to where various family members live, and was therefore the perfect central point to met up for a meal. We were welcomed warmly by all staff. We were given a "garden" room, which was perfect. It was large and very well appointed. All enjoyed their meal in the Brasserie and the following morning my husband and I had a delicious fresh cooked breakfast. Would I go again? you bet!
Location was lovely, the hotel decor and furnishings were of a very high standard and the food was excellent. A lovely warm welcome upon arrival, afternoon tea in the restaurant, followed by a stay in a spacious room and bathroom (room 51). Exceeded my expectations and plan to stay again in the future.
There wasn't anything I didn't like!
Location beautiful
Clean and welcoming
Wonderful staff especially Stuart in the restaurant is a credit to the company.
Parking plenty and the overall view of the venue outstanding classic features and perfect grounds
Molton brown in rooms which adds that extra touch
The bar prices for drinks ridiculous, 4 double baileys was £52
Stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed a lot longer! The setting is lovely, the building itself impressive, staff were friendly and the afternoon tea and breakfast the following day were excellent. The overall environment is calm, relaxing and whilst traditional, is modern in equal measure. The soft furnishings and decor are beautiful. Not a bad word to say and I will definitely return for another stay in the future.
We were married on Valentine's Day 2026 and couldn't be happier with the service provided at Wentbridge House. The weather gods shined on us which meant we could appreciate the grounds, even in winter. We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites, which was fabulous and very comfortable. The wedding itself was so easily managed by the team. They were flexible, supportive and responsive to our requests. There was nothing too big or small that they couldn't fulfil. We had the perfect day. Everything went exactly to plan. The quality of the food was superb. Our guests thought we spent 3 x what we actually paid which shows the high standards provided on the day. We just wish we could do it all again! Highly recommend!
Fantastic stay at Wentbridge House Hotel! Lovely stuff, spacious rooms and incredible food / service. Will definitely be staying here again!
Lovely hotel, lovely large room . Friendly staff . Cosy room with fire for cocktails and great breakfast
Couldn’t fault it.
Food excellent, service excellent. Staff human. Cleanliness extremely good. Value great. This is my 5th stay in tqo years and it constantly improves. My only slight niggle and it is so small. Please change the music tracks in the morning.
Had a fantastic stay to meet with friends, had a room overlooking the grounds at the front. Room was spacious, spotless and very comfy bed. We dined in the brasserie in the evening staff were tentative and food was beautiful. Breakfast has a fantastic selection looking forward to our next visit.
Celebrated a joint belated birthday with my bff - excellent service & food, always consistent. Both the Brassiere & the Fleur de Lyes restaurant were excellent. Our room was upgraded - and it was beautiful, overlooking the gorgeous gardens.
As always, delicious food, friendly well-trained staff and all in a beautiful setting.
Thank you to the staff who helped to make my Mothers 90th Birthday lunch and afternoon special for her. We very much appreciate the little details and kindness shown towards her.
We stayed for one memorable night and absolutely loved this hotel. Every single thing was wonderful - beautiful room, super comfortable bed, amazing pillows, big wardrobe and lovely Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Drinks in the cosy lounge were lovely and dinner was beyond fabulous! Great menu (and we are fussy) extensive wine list and all sensibly priced given the standard of the hotel overall.
The staff make this hotel. We were warmly greeted by the lovely gentlemen on reception (who were very smartly dressed, nice touch) and had the same experiences at dinner and breakfast, and it’s not often you have great staff at breakfast in a hotel! Hot breakfasts are cooked to order and they were perfect too!
If I was searching for useful feedback, I would say there wasn’t enough tea bag choices in the room. Easily sorted - just ask for whatever you want at the bar! We’ll be back ❤️
Very relaxing stay. Great attention to detail without being fussy. Our room was upgraded to take account of our preference for a walk-in shower which was a real bonus. All staff could not have been more helpful and attentive (again without fuss). The dinner menu was varied and the food nicely presented. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was firm and comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The toiletries were very nice. The only thing I was surprised was not offered were bathrobes and slippers.
We can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding so special. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and professionalism.
Chloe was incredible — organising a wedding in just three months felt completely stress-free thanks to her support and communication. On the day itself, Stuart and Karen were outstanding: full of energy, calm, organised, and genuinely lovely to be around. They made everything run smoothly and helped us (and our guests!) relax and enjoy every moment.
A huge thank you as well to the wider team — especially the staff member who ensured my dress and veil were perfect before the ceremony, and the lovely lady who ran the buffet on Thursday evening.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better team and will always be grateful for how memorable they made our wedding.
The hotel rooms are exceptionally clean, very well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. I had dinner with business contacts, and the menu choice was brilliant, and the food matched, including homemade desserts. All in all, I would definitely stay again (and will), and would highly recommend this hotel nd restaurant.
Another wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are so welcoming and the hotel was immaculate. Our room was spotless and we had two delicious meals in the hotel restaurant.
