The owners are very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to suggest things to do in the area. The breakfast fresh and had the feeling of being a home cooked meal.
The hotel is right on a main road and there is road noise pretty much all night long. The shower did not have temperature control. The water came out at the slightly chilled temperature presumably directly from the water heater

Right on a very busy, noisy highway. No restaurant on site for lunch or dinner. Luke warm shower at best.

Solo mejoraría el desayuno, lo encontré muy poquito. Agregaría más fruta y otra rebanada de pan porque son muy pequeñitas.

La ubicación es muy bonita y estratégica, en un lugar seguro, el personal y sus propietarios son personas muy amenas y agradables!
En el hotel tienen un pequeño supermercado, muy bien surtido y en el que pueden encontrar artículos que se necesiten de último momento, sin tener que salir del lugar.
1- La televisión no es por cable (STB), ni por satélite (SAT), ni por antena (TDT), es por streaming de internet (IPTV) y la señal de Wifi es muy débil, por lo que al menos en la habitación #4 es imposible ver televisión.
2- El parqueo es pequeño y un poco incómodo por una pendiente que tiene, principalmente si se viaja en un carro un poco grande, en mi caso era una camioneta (pick up). Hay opción de parquear en el exterior del hotel, pero no es lo ideal.
3- El horario de uso de la piscina es de 8:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m., por lo que no fue posible disfrutar de la misma, al regresar de las actividades que debíamos realizar durante nuestra estadía en Puntarenas.

Buen desayuno. Habitacion comoda. Frente al mar y con estacionamiento cómodo.
El inodoro era muy chico y bajito. Y la ducha era monocomando, lo cual complicaba para mezclar el agua fría y caliente para bañarse.

it was a short notice booking after nightmare with another place. We enjoyed it. The pool and the beach is just opposite the property. Nice breakfast. Lovely family who runs that place.
We had a code on our door, which sometimes worked or not .. you need patience and plenty of time .. even the owner got annoyed with this ‘set up’ .. lol
Su ubicación y estilo
We stayed at this lovely family-run hotel in Puntarenas on our way from La Fortuna to Santa Teresa and it turned out to be such a beautiful stop. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. We ended up having interesting conversations that made the experience feel much more personal.
Nature was all around us. we witnessed some unexpected “drama” between different iguanas, and there were so many beautiful birds to watch. It felt alive and peaceful at the same time.
The room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, which was perfect after a long day of travel. Breakfast was simple and delicious, and the beautiful beach right in front of the hotel made everything even better.
