Satisfactory place for night stop
Pros:

Room was adequate for an en route night stop, clean room with basin & shower, although I never figured out how to use. WiFi signal was adequate, parking free outside hotel. I didn't visit for its location, location was OK, nothing special

Cons:

The reason I bring my own loo paper, theirs was the cheap type you avoid using. Room decor and general condition starting to look aged and well used, but not yet dire

Cons:

Tried contacting the staff in the evening, because the key to the door of the hotel building didn’t work. No one answered for 10 minutes. I tried calling and texting but there was no reply. After 10 minutes I pushed the door really hard and suddenly it worked. Not the most pleasant experience :(

Perfect when you’re on the road
Pros:

Perfect to stay for the night when you’re on the road. We chose the room with a shower in the room and I must say it was pretty convenient! Also the staff is super friendly, totally recommended

Linde Hotel & Restaurant perfectly located for my memorable visit to Trossingen
Pros:

Linde Hotel & Restaurant was perfectly located for my first visit to the area from which some of my ancestors emigrated to Canada starting in the 1850s. The very interesting Deutsches Harmonika Museum and Auberlehaus Museum, which are only a short walk away, despite normally being closed on a Monday both graciously granted my request for a visit. The Linde Restaurant's Spaghetti Carbonara and Tiramisu were quite good. I did not stay for the breakfast the following morning.

Cons:

Following my train connections from Strasbourg, with an overnight stop in Offenburg, during warm humid weather, (and no air conditioning!) that aspect of my travel did not improve at the Linde Hotel. I would have appreciated it had the room included an electric fan.

Very good
Cons:

In general a good experience. Nice location, great hosts and good restaurant. Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof and there is a lot going on within the hotel premises. It seems that the owners live there too and they are pretty active.
I asked if they could lower the volume of their TV and without complaining, they did. I’m very grateful for that.
